We’ve been planning on setting up these new sessions for a while, and now we have some start dates. 😊😎😎
The first one is aimed at those who are experiencing back or neck pain, as these are two of the most common problems seen in GP practices. We all know how beneficial Pilates can be, so we decided to teach you how to protect your back as well as restore efficient movement and posture by improving mobility and flexibility, strength and balance.
We also plan to provide a separate class designed for all levels aiming to balance, align and strengthen the body preventing injuries as well as restoring the body to its absolute best after injury.
Finally, we will begin both antenatal and postnatal classes. Pilates is beneficial in both cases because it strengthens the deep abdominal and gluteal muscles (your core and your bum!). Ultimately, benefiting your posture and strengthens the pelvic floor muscles, reducing your chances of developing back pain and the risk of incontinence that can develop during or after pregnancy.
