Hi, I’m Savannah Buckingham, and I’m proud to be part of the team here at Refinerx Medical Aesthetics — a medically-led clinic dedicated to safe, ethical and evidence-based treatments, right here in the heart of our community.
I originally qualified as a professional hair stylist, where I developed a real passion for helping people look and feel their best. That passion grew into a strong interest in aesthetics and skin health, leading me into a more clinical healthcare setting.
For the past two years, I have worked at Buxton Hospital as a Radiology Assistant, gaining invaluable experience within the NHS and developing a deeper understanding of professionalism, patient care, and the importance of working to the highest medical standards.
I have since progressed into my role as an Advanced Aesthetics Practitioner, specialising in treatments that focus on skin regeneration, long-term skin health, and natural rejuvenation.

My name is Sean McEwan, and I’m an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner with over 12 years of clinical experience working across urgent and emergency healthcare settings.
I began my career with the East Midlands Ambulance Service, working on the frontline in and around the Buxton area. From there, I progressed into the Urgent Treatment Centre at Buxton Hospital, where I spent over 10 years developing advanced assessment and treatment skills, managing a wide range of acute presentations, and delivering safe patient-centred care.
For the past two years, I have worked as an Advanced Practitioner within a GP practice in Greater Manchester, expanding my clinical practice further into long-term health management, diagnostics, prescribing pathways, and holistic patient care.
Alongside this, I completed my training in Advanced Medical Aesthetics, combining my medical background with a growing passion for dermatology, skin health, and facial aesthetics.
