This gentleman was not happy with his upper front teeth, especially after the loss of one of his front crowns. He had crowns placed when he was younger but was never happy with how they looked and wanted to make the teeth look straighter, as well as filling the gap on the upper left. We used a wax-up to plan the treatment, and with the help of a dental implant in the gap, we achieved a beautiful outcome for this lovely patient! Meet Oliver ✨ Oliver qualified in Sheffield University in 2014 and worked in South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, before buying Lightwood in 2021 with Emily. Oliver has completed a Law and Ethics PGcert from the University of Bedforshire, and also completed his restorative PGcert from Tipton training in 2023. Oliver enjoys providing general dentistry, but has a particular love for Orthodontics. Meet Emily! ✨ Emily qualified from Newcastle University in 2014 with a merit in clinical dentistry. She has expanded her knowledge with various courses, most recently completing a PG Cert in Implantology. Emily is one of our principal dentists at Lightwood Dental, and brought the practice alongside her partner Oliver in 2021. Emily enjoys providing a wide range of dental treatments to her patients, with the aim to restore and maintain good oral health for life. Outside of work, she loves to cook, go hiking and look after her two cats. She has worked in Manchester, New Zealand, Salford and Stockport before joining Lightwood Dental Care in 2023, where she has become a valued member of our team!
