This week we chose to explore the country and culture of one of our residents and went all the way to Indonesia. We had a great time learning to cook and eat Indonesian food. We also learnt folk dancing and listened to music both folk and pop. One pop star we saw we found very funny as she was singing about her cheeks and being crazy. She made us laugh. We listened to stories and watched an animated film which was fun. It was about a lady who asked a god for a baby and the baby grew up to fight a demon and won. We give Indonesia a big thumbs up. Next week we are off to Peru!

Gardening club - the rewards are not just sweet and delicious. Growing, nurturing and eventually consuming our own fruit and veg is a process we all really enjoy.

The strawberries this season are so tasty and the tomatoes are coming along beautifully in our greenhouse.
