Pushing through pain can sometimes make an injury worse or delay recovery. The goal isn’t to suffer through workouts, it’s to move well, recover properly, and build strength safely. šŸ’Ŗ

Best of luck to anyone running the London Marathon on Sunday! Go smash it!!

Here are some top tips from Vicky (as a physio and someone who has run three marathons!)

- Don’t try anything new. No new shoes, gels or kit- stick to what your body knows

⁠- Start slower than you feel you want to, adrenaline will carry you early, but going too fast will catch up with you later.

Come and join us at this month’s Menopause Hub next Thursday. We’ll be joined by hypnotherapist Laura Bell who will be exploring sleep issues during perimenopause and menopause and how we can find ways to allow our bodies to truly switch off for deep rest and relaxation and peaceful night’s sleep!
