The Tesla Toolbox Dealer Diagnostic is Tesla’s official diagnostic software. By having this tool it will allow us to do the following:

- Provide dealer-level access to Tesla’s vehicle systems
- Cover every Tesla model from 2012 to the newest release
- OEM Approved which means it is compliant with Tesla’s service procedures and warranty requirements
- Calibrate ADAS systems and configure ECUs exactly as Tesla service centres do

DPF OFF-CAR CLEAN vs ON-CAR CLEAN

A blocked DPF is a symptom, not the root cause.

“DPF just needs a clean”
Not always.

Every DPF fault needs proper assessment first.

And no…
“Just take it on the motorway in 4th gear at 70mph”
is not a fix.

There are two different cleaning methods, and they are not the same.

Light restriction?
An on-car chemical clean can be suitable.

Heavy ash build-up?
The DPF needs removing and properly flushed with specialist equipment

- The 20p Test: If you don't have a tyre pressure gaige, you can use a 20p coin. If you can see the outer band of a 20p coin in your tread, it’s time for a change.
- Visual Check: Inspect for cuts or "eggs" (bulges) caused by winter potholes.
- Wipers & Fluids: Ensure your visibility isn't compromised by salt spray or old blades.
