FROM 16.6.26 the practice will be enabled for the Electronic Prescription Service

This means that prescriptions can be transmitted to your nominated pharmacy instantly once the GP authorises your medication. This will save having to collect your script , or wait for the paper script to be collected by your pharmacy - which should make the process quicker and reduce 'lost prescription' issues.

Patients will need to consent to enable this service, and nominate a pharmacy.

Up to 16.6.26 you can inform your pharmacy that you wish to opt in , which will take affect once we 'go live' (this may need a form to be completed)

After 16.6.26 you can inform the practice or pharmacy that you wish to enable this service.

IN WRITING / VIA PHARMACY / VIA NHS WALES APP

up to a week before you run out - Please still allow up to 3 WORKING DAYS for processing.

⚠️ Meningitis: Please Check Your Child’s Vaccinations 💉

Our Director of Public Health, Professor Tracy Daszkiewicz, is urging parents and carers to make sure children and teenagers are protected against meningitis, following recent tragic cases in Kent 💔

Meningitis can develop very quickly and can be life threatening. Vaccination is the best way to prevent it.

🛡️ Key meningitis protection includes:
• MenB for babies and young children
• Pneumococcal vaccine (can also prevent meningitis)
• MenACWY for Year 9 pupils and young people under 25 starting university

Young children, teenagers and students in shared accommodation are at the highest risk.

👉 Book any missed doses
