Shop Holistic is a family-run mail order business dedicated to educating others on natural health alternatives and supplying no-nonsense high quality products at excellent prices with our 'No Frills' policy. When we started out our mission was to offer products at affordable prices without compromising on quality making natural health alternatives affordable to all and it still is today. We found the best way to accomplish this is by sourcing products as directly to the source as possible, in their purest and generally raw form, and packaging our own products to cut down on unnecessary factory processing and bottling. We began by offering many New Age items too, but while we still offer a few things in this field, we have now moved over more into natural health products as we discover more innovative ways to keep ourselves healthy without relying on Big Pharma. We have been the first to introduce many products into the UK (though sadly a lot of these have been removed by Trading Standards recently due to strict EU regulations) and continue to strive to find the best possible products from all over the world and from many different backgrounds and belief systems. We are often praised for our fast and efficient sales service, sending the majority of orders out within 24 hours of the order being placed (hand-prepared items are sent within 5 days, many within only a couple of days). We do not inflate our overheads with unnecessary overheads such as extra staff to make our lives easy, and in 2011 we moved from our beautiful large trade centre to 2 much smaller warehouses as we would have otherwise had to increase our prices to cover our overheads. We sincerely hope you enjoy browsing our products and blog on our website and find our information useful and helpful. However please remember that a lot of the information has had to be to be removed due to the EU Health Claims Directive, so we suggest you download any information you can while you can from us or other sources! To provide a better advice service to customers, owner Danielle and Customer Services Supervisor Beth have become qualified in Nutritional Therapy. Danielle has also qualified in Kinesiology, Homeopathy, Yoga and Holistic Diagnosis and is happy to provide free advice by email to both customers and non-customers. We are pleased to say we will be returning to Porthcawl Indoor Market in Griffin Hall on March 15th! We will have a small selection from the shop (you can pre-order or request we take products with us) PLUS we will have our popular Farm Fresh Eggs from organically raised happy hens (£4 doz, £9 tray) and local raw honey by our friends Bee Magic at £5 per jar, and available in set and runny!
We also have eggs and honey at the shop, currently open Mon, Tues & Thurs 9.30-3.30pm.

Due to the horrendous fees, and the very unfair way that Amazon treats their FBA businesses (FBA = fulfilled by Amazon) we have decided to not send our magnesium flakes and diatomaceous earth into Amazon any more for them to send out through prime. We will still sell on there, but we will fulfil orders ourselves.
Amazon recently changed their terms, making prime sellers wait almost 3 weeks for money from sales, from waiting only a day - which meant that we had to go without any income from amazon for 3 weeks, all of a sudden. Then the sales just drip-fed through. This behaviour can destroy small businesses with a tight cash flow (and I'm sure they know it).
We hope customers will support our small business and purchase directly, or from our non-prime Amazon listing, rather than just looking for prime products!
