A bit of a personal post for today...

My beautiful Nan, Alma, finally passed away on the evening of Christmas Day. She was peaceful, free of pain, and surrounded by love ❤️

Nan was an inspiration - the strongest woman I have ever met - and her courage and determination were unwavering until the end.
After being told she wouldn't make it through the night 3 months ago, we were blessed to have had all of this extra time with her, including being able to celebrate her 96th birthday! And it turns out she was actually holding out for Christmas ✨️

Just sharing this news as so many of you, my wonderful clients, have been so kind in asking about Nan. Thank you for your love, well wishes, thoughts and prayers for Nan these last few months.

Just a quick update as the festive season is fast approaching!

📅 My last day before Christmas is Saturday 20th December. I'll be returning on Tuesday 6th January.

I'm now fully booked until Christmas - aside for any last minute cancellations - and my next availability is from Tuesday 20th January onwards (only a few slots for existing clients that week but more availability from the following week).

🌲 I'd like to wish all of my wonderful clients an amazing Christmas and New Year! Thank you all for your continued loyalty, support, love and friendship - it really does mean the world to me.

❗️UPDATE: New sign in/out process at Caerphilly Miners Centre

Our new sign in process is now in place at the Centre. All visitors to the site, including Wellness Hub clients, will be asked to SIGN IN and SIGN OUT using the new ipad in reception.

I'm sharing a short video to help explain the process but it's pretty straightforward (and the system will remember returning visitors so you only need to enter your full name on your first visit).

Please ask if you have any questions or need any assistance.

🌟 Keep up to date with key appointment info, news and more from Optimum health & wellbeing 🌟

With an ever-growing client base, it is becoming a bit of a task informing clients of key information relating to their appointments! I used to do this by phone or text, but I've recently set up an email newsletter system which I'm hoping will ensure that everyone gets all of the key information in a timely way.

It would be amazing if all clients would sign up to email updates. You can do so here:

I promise I won't spam you with lots of useless information! 😜 I'll send general updates, news, offers and so on only every few months, BUT will email with any key appointment and business info (such as changes to parking, potential travel interuption, building info affecting your appointment etc etc) as and when required.

*Car Parking Update at Caerphilly Miners Centre*

Just wanted to provide a little update about car parking at the centre.

You may have noticed some new signs popping up over the last week, so just clarifying the parking arrangements for clients attending appointments:

1. You will notice that our 2 DEDICATED SPACES FOR WELLNESS HUB CLIENTS now have improved signage. We would ask clients to please use these parking spaces, if available.
2. The parking at the front of the building has now been dedicated as SHORT STAY PARKING. This is intended for drop off/pick up AND for centre users who will only be on site for around an hour.
Should there be no dedicated Wellness Hub spaces available, clients are very welcome to use these spaces too!
3. As before, we have a number of DEDICATED DISABLED SPACES. Any Wellness Hub clients who are blue badge holders AND any clients who are not registered disabled but experiencing significant mobility issues are very welcome to use the disabled spaces when attending for their appointment.
4. If our top car park is full, please feel free to use the OVERFLOW CAR PARK, which is accessible from Beech Tree View (not through the main centre gates). Please note that these spaces are not suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

We hope that the above changes will make parking when attending your appointment more straightforward. If you have any questions, please ask!

The truth is that most of my clients come from referrals and word of mouth, so my website and social media are usually the last things on my list!
