✨ What a wonderful surprise! ✨

Today, Bridget and Louis treated us to an absolutely fantastic show, and what an atmosphere it created! 💃🕺
The iconic music of ABBA filled the room – timeless songs that spark memories, lift spirits, and get everyone moving. Bridget and Louis dressed us up for the occasion, turned the music up loud, and transformed the dining room into a proper disco with full disco lights! 🪩✨

were dancing, clapping along, smiling, laughing, and truly enjoying every moment. It was full of energy, happiness, and togetherness ❤️

Moments like this show just how important socialising and dining together are. Sharing music, movement, and meals helps reduce loneliness, encourages connection, boosts wellbeing, and creates a real sense of community. It’s about so much more than food—it’s about belonging and making memories 🌟

Today is Chelsea’s last shift with us as a Care Assistant at Cherry Tree Care Home.

💖 Happy Mother’s Day from Cherry Tree Care Home 💖

We would like to wish all the beautiful mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

We had a truly fabulous day filled with singing, dancing, pampering, and so many lovely visitors. The home was full of smiles, laughter, and love 💕
We even had a special visit from Brimbel, which brought extra joy to everyone 🐾✨

Mother’s Day began in the early 1900s, inspired by Anna Jarvis, to honour mothers and thank them for their love, care, and sacrifices. It’s a day dedicated to celebrating the incredible role mothers play in our lives—something we are proud to do here every day 💖

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating Barbara’s birthday here at Cherry Tree! 🎉

Barbara enjoyed a lovely lunch out with her family earlier in the day, and later returned to Cherry Tree where the celebrations continued with music, dancing, and of course plenty of cake shared with her family, residents, and our wonderful staff. 💃🎶🍰

It was a beautiful afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and great company.

🌸 A Lovely End to February at Cherry Tree Care Home 🍒

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful final week of February filled with smiles, laughter and great company. From relaxing chats over tea to fun activities together, it has been a lovely way to close the month.

We spent time socialising, enjoying tasty treats and taking part in activities that keep both mind and body active. Moments like these remind us how important friendship, community and a warm environment are for everyone at Cherry Tree.

🌼 Happy St David’s Day! 🌼
Today we are celebrating St David’s Day, the national day of Wales, a day that honours Welsh culture, traditions, and the patron saint of Wales, St David.

St David is known for his message of kindness, community, and simple living, values that still feel very relevant today. Traditionally, people wear daffodils or leeks, enjoy Welsh music, and celebrate everything that makes Wales special 🏴

Our residents had a lovely time celebrating today with Bridget, enjoying good company, conversation, and the spirit of the day. It was wonderful to see smiles, shared memories, and everyone coming together to mark this special occasion 💛

Days like today remind us how meaningful it is to celebrate culture, history, and togetherness.

🐉 Lunar New Year at Cherry Tree 🧧

We celebrated Lunar New Year, a festival that marks the beginning of the new year in the lunar calendar. It symbolises new beginnings, good luck, happiness, and prosperity, and is traditionally celebrated with music, dancing, and time spent together.

At Cherry Tree, Louis and Bridget brought the celebration to life by dancing to festive music, filling the room with energy and smiles. Residents also enjoyed a fun game of bingo, keeping minds active and spirits high.

It was a lovely cultural celebration, full of movement, laughter, and shared moments. A great reminder that learning about different traditions can be joyful at any age 🧧🎶

Yesterday we were delighted to welcome the Touchwood singer!
Residents, staff, and family members all had a wonderful time singing along and joining in with instruments. The guitar set the mood, the room was full of smiles, and everyone truly enjoyed the music and shared moments together. 🎶😊
