Did you realise that we don’t just work with athletes and sports related issues?

We also work with individuals who have pain or mobility issues that every day life sometimes throws our way. Vic often sees people who are well into their 80’s or even 90’s and want to stay as mobile and healthy as they can. Don’t let painful niggles get in the way of enjoying life!

Bore Da - very da indeed!!
I have to tell you my feet are a miracle!! I had been putting up with low-key pain all the time and it was impacting my everyday life and I had accepted that was how it had to be from now on. I'd pretty much decided to give up walking and I kept skipping sessions of Pickleball in case my feet would hurt following a recent episode where I jumped for a ball and it really did hurt! Since getting home I feel like they've continued to improve but most incredibly I've slept like a log every night this week, I've woken up feeling refreshed at 8 am and I'm not having the lower back pain that came with tossing and turning all night because I couldn't even tolerate the weight of the duvet on my feet. It really has been life changing. I'm so grateful and have every intention to have the follow-up work that Mal suggested and I will continue to maintain/look after my self. I just wanted you to know that I'm incredibly grateful as I said it really has been life changing!! ❤️

Introducing Vic……..

Vic qualified as a level 4 Sports Massage Therapist in 2012 and went straight into private practise at our clinic in Llanelli seeing clients on a daily basis. Alongside this Vic also became a practitioner for Sport Wales and over the ensuing years worked with numerous Welsh elite athletes at our clinic, at the National Pool in Swansea and at the Sport Wales Centre in Cardiff. In April 2021, following many years of study Vic became a certified Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT). She also continued to follow her passion for archery and took up a role at Archery GB. Three years later she has now returned full time to our clinic to work with our own clients again.

Vic took up archery in 2005 and has represented Great Britain 20 times along with multiple Wales shirts. Until recently she held a World and European record and retains several indoor, outdoor and field archery British records. Her background in sport provides insight into the needs of athletes in our client base but Vic is also keen to ensure that the health and wellbeing benefits of massage are not over looked. Vic has developed a unique set of skills combining both comprehensive treatment of physical issues along with the therapeutic application of massage for wellbeing. So, whether you have an injury or would like to have massage as part of your self care routine do get in touch.
