Something that people don't often think about us backup service, and choose a company based on the sales pitch thinking only of the installation.

But what happens if something doesn't work? You need an excellent aftercare team in place to help and we pride ourselves on being able to get to customers quickly, whenever they need us most.

Visiting mum this weekend?

If you're lucky enough to be able to visit mum this weekend, it's a great opportunity to just check in on her and see how she's getting on.

In our experience, people often leave getting a stairlift until the last minute or until it's too late. They struggle for years unnecessarily when a stairlift can be fitted in just around 4 hours.

Many people feel like they are giving in when they get a stairlift, but actually it's the stairs that are the problem and not you.

Happy International Women's Day to the ladies at 1st Choice Stairlifts! What an amazing team we make and what a pleasure it is to have you on team 1st Choice.

From Coral leading the company as Joint MD and Owner, one of only a handful of female directors in a stairlift engineering company, and the only woman in the stairlift industry to have 30 years of experience working for both the stairlift manufacturers and herself.

The company is supported by Lindsey, who helps run the company's day to day operations, with Lucy in Sales and Accounts, Nicky in Aftercare, Helen in bookkeeping, Debbi running our Dorset office, and Ashleigh in sales and installations.

Of course we are just one half of the company, we'll be celebrating the other half when it's their turn on International Mens Day!
