We’re proud to be a local, family-run business built from a passion for helping people live independently at home.

Our founders Coral and Colin have spent over 65+ years in stairlifts and homelifts between them, both working for stairlift manufacturers, before embarking on their own company 1st Choice Stairlifts, 21 years ago in 2004.

From the humble beginnings of a two-person work-from-home company, to a thriving business today. We now employ 19 members of staff and operate out of 4 industrial units. In our 21st year in business we opened a new branch in Dorset, following the acquisition of Dolphin Care Stairlifts & County Stairlifts, as we continue to grow and help more people stay in the home they love.
