Running helps us to keep moving forward, one step at a time.

I am in no way a runner but this is something I have been trying to improve on, I have completed Couch to 5K and now using the app to help me improve on my breathing and pacing and it's definitely helping and making it more enjoyable.

Okay team, lets talk about scale and weight fluctuation.

❌Have you noticed your weight fluctuating?

❌Do you obsessive over your weight on the scale?
This is something that a lot of us go through — myself included!

HOWEVER…

There’s a few reasons why the numbers might be all over the place, below are a couple of things to think about and focus on when you step on to the scales

🦋Hormones – As females we often experience water retention and bloating during our menstrual cycle.

🦋Sodium Intake – This one is so simple, the more sodium we consume, the more water we retain

🦋Foods you ate the previous day – If your Bowel Movements aren’t where they should be, then it might be time to increase your fiber intake 🍏

What I want you to remember though is that your weight DOES NOT define your progress your overall health does.
Take body measurements and weekly photos, as well as focusing on your daily habits and the results will come and be seen, I promise!!

Let’s talk flexibility and stretching 🧘🏼‍♀️

This is something people often don’t do or ‘forget’ to do, as they don’t see it being important; however, stretching helps lengthen your muscles, keeping them strong and flexible and able to maintain a good range of motion!

The 5 main benefits of stretching can:
🧘🏼‍♀️ Improve posture
🧘🏼‍♀️ Improve range of motion and prevents loss of range of motion
🧘🏼‍♀️ Decrease back pain
🧘🏼‍♀️ Help prevent injury
🧘🏼‍♀️ Decrease muscle soreness

I stretch before and after every training session and attend one to two yoga classes a week, and the benefit I feel from this is incredible.

Hello June

The half way point of the year (I mean January didn't feel two minutes ago so not sure how this has happened)

Spending days and evenings in the garden is such a good feeling this warmer weather is just delightful.

We have 30 new days to make memories and smash goals.

What are you most looking forward to this month? For me, I have a extremely busy month with birthday celebrations, friends to visit, family functions and even a hike, and that's only the things I can think of right now!! I'm going to make sure my Training and Nutrition are spot on around these events but then thoroughly enjoy the events when they come around. Life is about balance and a few social activities will not derail your progress.

Okay Team, we have reached the end of May, we have completed the fith month of 2025, how crazy is that?

How has this last month been for you? Have you achieved what you hoped?
For me this month has been a little up and down in consistency, although I've had the best time celebrating my birthday and living my best life! Forever grateful for these girls.

I wanted to share a couple of things that I have been loving lately

🏋 Waking up at 5:20am so I can get my workout in before my day begins
🧘 Attending a few Yoga classes at@1111yogastudio a week, taking the time for myself to switch off and see what my body is capable of
🍓Gardening, seeing the flowers come into bloom, and patiently waiting for the strawberries to become edible
🎼 Country Music… Those of you that know me well, know I will always have country music playing, there is literally a song for every mood!
🍟 Homemade loaded fries, feels like a cheat meal but a healthier version
