Yesterday we celebrated International Nurses Day at our care home, recognising the incredible dedication, compassion and hard work of our amazing nursing team. 💙

Our nurses enjoyed delicious food, thoughtful gifts and a very special video message from our residents, sharing their heartfelt thanks for everything they do each and every day.

Today at Camberley Woods Care Home we stepped back in time for our wonderful VE Day celebrations 🇬🇧✨

Residents, families and staff enjoyed our very own street party complete with visits from Fleet Classic Cars, a fantastic VE Day performance by Helen, and plenty of delicious food and refreshments throughout the day. Despite the drizzle trying to interrupt us at the start, a little rain certainly didn’t stop the celebrations! ☔❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special and memorable for our residents.

Our residents had a fantastic time celebrating Cinco de Mayo with our very own Mexican fiesta! 🇲🇽🎉

The day was filled with vibrant colours, great company, and of course… delicious Mexican cuisine that everyone thoroughly enjoyed 🌮🌯 From tasty treats to a lively atmosphere, it truly felt like a fiesta to remember!

To top it all off, we were treated to an incredible mariachi performance by Jorge, which had everyone smiling, clapping along, and soaking up the festive spirit 🎶💃

A wonderful day full of culture, music, and joy! 🌞✨

Last week, our residents enjoyed a lovely trip out to Alice Holt Forest ☀️🌳

With the sun shining, we took a gentle stroll through the beautiful woodland, soaking in the fresh air and peaceful surroundings. We then settled down for a picnic together, enjoying good food, great company, and plenty of smiles all round 🧺💛

It was such a refreshing day out, and a wonderful chance to connect with nature and each other 🌿

Our residents have been getting wonderfully creative in our recent activities 🌸🎨

From beautifully arranged flowers to some truly lovely paintings, it’s been amazing to see everyone express themselves, try something new, and enjoy a relaxed, creative atmosphere together. There’s nothing better than seeing smiles, focus, and a real sense of pride in what they’ve created 💛
