Back in 2017, our sister home, in Gloucestershire, Aura Care Living in Cirencester, sponsored a unique link between the UK, specifically, Cirencester, and the city of Bathurst, in New South Wales, Australia. Cirencester & the City of Bathurst Friendship.

Students have used the friendship to travel to the other side of the world and various businesses have linked up, through this idea.

We raise a schooner to Australia, and the people of Bathurst!

Who else is raising a glass to ROBERT BURNS SCOTLAND'S NATIONAL BARD, this evening?...

Tonight we raise a glass to Rabbie Burns and celebrate Scotland’s national poet, whose words have brought comfort, laughter, and reflection for generations.

This Burns Night, we’ll be enjoying good company, gentle music, and a taste of tradition as we honour poems and songs that many of us know by heart. As Burns so beautifully reminds us,
“O wad some Pow’r the giftie gie us,
To see oursels as ithers see us.”

Here’s to friendship, kindness, and shared memories—values that never grow old.

A busy morning of male grooming with the mobile barber service, followed by great afternoon and crowd to take on the Quiz and Dingbats challenge. It was wonderful working as a team to solve all the puzzles and get us all thinking. Lots of laughs and fun. The kitkats seemed to boost brain power! 😋😁
