My thought for the festive season (if you enjoy this please like my business page) 👍

I was chatting with my husband today after returning from a hectic visit to Sainsbury’s. Everyone was charging around with their trollies busy ticking things off lists, on a mission and looking stressed out.

It occurred to me that we rush around so much on the lead up to Christmas. Maybe even over the Christmas period as well, trying to fit in seeing family and friends, that we don’t have time to take it all in. As with many things when we are so involved in it all, there’s no time to actually really appreciate it – and then suddenly it’s all over.

So I have a suggestion for you this year.

When you get a chance just take a moment to step back… walk away somewhere or sit back and just watch and drink it all in.
Watch the faces of those around you, listen to the laughter, notice the smells of the fabulous food, savour the flavours and feel the warmth and cosiness of it all.

Be mindful; and in that moment really observe everything you have. Because it’s only when you step away from the blur of it all, slow down and just sit and admire can we really appreciate what we have and the true value of that.

On that note, I wish you all a wonderful and warm festive holiday full of great food, good fun and an ample helping of love, appreciation and gratitude – plus the odd drink or two… 😘🥂
