🎃✨ Festive fun at Longacres! 🎄🛍️

We had such a wonderful time taking our residents on a trip to Longacres today! The store was bursting with holiday spirit — from spooky Halloween displays to sparkling Christmas decorations, there was magic around every corner. 🎅👻

The ladies enjoyed browsing the beautiful decorations and getting into the festive spirit nice and early! ❤️

👨‍🍳 It’s International Chefs’ Day! 👩‍🍳

Today, we’re celebrating chefs all over the world, and especially the incredible culinary stars in our Aria Care homes.

Every day, our chefs create delicious seasonal dishes with warmth, care, and creativity. Their dedication doesn’t just nourish, it brings joy, comfort, and a real sense of home to our residents. We can’t thank them enough for the passion and excellence they bring to every meal.

Today, on World Food Day, we celebrate the food we serve, but also our chefs who craft seasonal dishes that ensure each meal looks appealing, and is healthy and satisfying. Aria Care's catering teams don't just cook food, they create meals that are nutritious, and reminiscent of home cooking. They plan meticulously, catering to everyone's tastes and dietary needs, using fresh, quality ingredients.

We believe that mealtimes are about more than food; they’re moments of joy, creativity, and connection, that bring our communities to life.

Our Harry is the soul of any party. He goes above and beyond for our residents. You will often find Harry in the bistro leading an activity with the residents or taking residents out and about!

Today we went out to visit our emergency and community services to say thank you for all they do for our residents here at Kingsclear and the wider community.

We visited Camberley Fire Station, Yately Ambulance Service, and Park Road GP practice and more!

Our emergency and community services work tirelessly to keep us safe and well and today was our chance to show just how much we appreciate them!

Exciting things are happening at Tall Trees Care Home in Shipton-under-Wychwood, near Chipping Norton!

Our 15 stunningly refurbished bedrooms are ready to welcome new residents! We think you'll agree, they're comfortable, elegant, and have that special Aria Care touch.

We’re celebrating with an open event this Saturday, 10am - 4pm, complete with champagne, canapés and the chance to see the new rooms for yourself.

🐾 Pet Therapy Joy! 🐾

🐶🐱 Our residents had an absolutely wonderful time during this week’s pet therapy session! The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of cuddles as our furry visitors who made their rounds.❤️

🎶 A Musical Afternoon to Remember! 🎶

Our residents were treated to a fantastic performance by the Camberley Ukulele Band today! 🎸✨ The lively tunes, sing-along favourites, and upbeat rhythms had everyone clapping, tapping their feet, and smiling from ear to ear. A huge thank you to the Camberley Ukulele Band for sharing your talent and filling our home with joy and laughter! 🩷

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we're taking a moment to reflect on how we can continue to build a culture of care that supports not just our residents, but also the incredible teams who care for them every day.

One of this year’s themes is about prioritising mental health in the workplace, something we are deeply committed to across all our homes.

As the care sector continues to evolve, we’re introducing new ways to support mental health and emotional wellbeing, with support available to all colleagues, whenever it’s needed.

Whether it’s a personal challenge or a work-related worry, we offer access to a confidential counselling service 24/7 — by phone or online — offering a safe space to talk, day or night.

This World Mental Health Day, and every day, we stand together to support, uplift and care for one another.

It’s Hospitality Apprenticeship Week, and we’re celebrating the amazing people behind the food!

This year’s theme, “Powered by People,” is a perfect reminder that it’s the skills, stories and passion of individuals that truly shape the hospitality industry, and that’s especially in care.

💜 Today we honor National Alzheimer’s Awareness Day with love, music, and memories. 💜

We created a Reminiscence Wall filled with the memories, stories, and milestones that have shaped our residents’ lives.

From famous people who inspired them 🌟 to historic events they lived through 🌍, each memory shared is a beautiful reminder of the experiences and wisdom within our community.

We were also uplifted by a beautiful live performance from Jonathan filling the room with joy and connection. And of course what’s a gathering without a little sweetness🧁 , thank you to our amazing chef’s everyone enjoyed delicious cupcakes as we celebrated the strength, love, and resilience of our Alzheimer’s community.
