Today is Emergency Services Day.

Our amazing sales team have been out and about delivering cakes, coffees and plenty of smiles to local ambulance, fire and police stations - just a small way to say thank you to the incredible people who do so much for us all.

We are delighted to announce that Southborough in Surbiton has been crowned this year’s Aria in Bloom champion. 🏆

The team and residents have transformed their outdoor space into something truly special - a garden that has something for everyone. From vibrant flowerbeds bursting with colour, to home-grown vegetables nurtured from seed, and planting for bees and butterflies, every corner has been carefully designed to bring joy and connection.

It’s not just about the plants, but the people. The garden has become a space for events, laughter, and shared moments - whether enjoying it on the lawn, from the balcony, or through the windows.

👏 Congratulations to everyone at Southborough for creating a space that celebrates nature, community, and accessibility for all.

👏 We’d also like to celebrate our runners-up, Kingsclear in Camberley and Southlands in Bexhill-on-Sea, whose gardens were full of creativity and inspiration.

This week, we’ve been celebrating our incredible chef Paul Georghiou, who is retiring after an amazing 14 years.

From creating delicious meals for our residents to bringing joy to our team, Paul has been a very important part of our family. His dedication, creativity, and kindness leave a lasting legacy.

We wish him every happiness in his well-deserved retirement – he will be very much missed!

Game faces on for a great cause! 🏆

Our Sports Day fundraiser was all about teamwork, laughter, and raising funds for Marie Curie. A huge thank you to everyone who joined in, cheered us on, and helped make a difference. Together, we’ve turned fun into support that truly matters! ❤️

We had a visit today from the ice cream truck so our wonderful residents and staff can enjoy a well-deserved sweet treat together after a fun filled day💛

Celebrating World Photography Day at Aria Care.

Earlier this year, we launched a photography competition across our homes to capture the heartfelt moments of joy, love, and care that make our communities so special.

The winning photograph, taken at Albany Lodge, was chosen by our Media Producer, Marcus Gilbert. Today, Marcus visited the home to present the team with their prize – a brand-new Canon camera and a photography workshop – so they can continue to capture and share the many special moments that happen at Albany Lodge every day.

Home Manager Sarah shared:

"We’re so excited to have won the grand prize. This camera will help us showcase even more of the heartfelt moments in our home, and we’re grateful to Aria for giving us this opportunity. Our photos will now look more beautiful than ever when we share them with our community."

Our lovely Katie has been with us for 5 years!

She has worked in a few roles in her time but has found that she loves being part of our housekeeping team.

Katie goes above and beyond for our residents, often you will find her in a residents room checking in on them and helping in any way that she can!

🎶 Tap-tastic Afternoon! 👞

🎶What a treat! Our residents were tapping their toes and clapping along as a talented tap dancer brought rhythm, joy, and plenty of smiles to our community today. Thank you Katie once again!💃

💕A wonderful afternoon of laughter, and a little friendly competition. The concentration was fierce, the throws were precise, and the spirit of fun was in full swing. 🎱

🏆 A huge congratulations to Beryl and Colin, our dynamic duo who rolled their way to victory!🏅

Today’s Animal Racing Competition brought out the competitive spirit in the best way — with lots of laughs, cheers, and a whole lot of fun! 🐢🐇🦆🐖

🐾Our residents picked their favorite racers and watched with excitement as the animals (real or stuffed!) made their way to the finish line. Congratulations to Joy, Colin and Gill taking first place 🎉

🌟 This Week at Kingsclear! 🌟

It’s been another fun-filled week here at Kingsclear, packed with laughter, music, and celebration!

🍋 Monday kicked off with the sweet smell of freshly baked lemon cakes as our residents rolled up their sleeves for a lovely baking session and they turned out delicious!

🎤 Tuesday brought the always-entertaining Daniel the Singer, who had everyone tapping their toes and singing along.

🧠 On Wednesday, we tested our knowledge with a lively quiz, congratulations to Tony, our reigning quiz champion! 🏆

🎉 Thursday was extra special as we celebrated Annette’s 5 year work anniversary! Thank you for your dedication and the care you bring to Kingsclear every day!

💐 We also enjoyed a wonderful Summer Concert from our very own Kingsclear Choir, who truly stole the show.

What a week! We’re already looking forward to next week’s adventures 💛

🛍️A wonderful outing with our residents to the local garden center today! Everyone enjoyed browsing the beautiful plants and flowers, followed by a relaxing break with tea and cake in the café. A lovely day filled with smiles, conversation, and fresh air.🚙

🍪We had a lovely time baking shortbread with our residents! The smell of freshly baked biscuits filled the home, and everyone enjoyed getting involved – mixing, shaping, and of course, tasting.❤️
