A big shout out to our team member Russell Billington who has been with us since the start!
Russell came to us, only wanting to focus on outdoor gardening activities, but over his time at Empowering Me, he has shown a real willingness, and enthusiasm, to try/learn, lots of new things, and sometimes even pushing himself out of his comfort zone!

Our newest team member Ben, has only been part of our team for 3 months, and this week, he has achieved one of the main targets he had when he joined us.
Here he is, cooking his very first meal, independently at home, after weeks of practicing on his Thursdays with us.

We had the first one, of our two Christmas fun days yesterday!
Our team members planned out how they wanted to spend the day.
We started off with games, crackers, cards, and presents in the morning, followed by some fun, playing bowling, and in the arcade, after that, we went for lunch, and then over to Hale End, to have a sing along with the Ukrainian choir.
We finished our lovely day with mince pies, and some lovely chats with our friends at the day centre!
