About Us

A passion for raising the standards of children’s mental health services is our hallmark. As an independent body, we aspire to achieve this by offering bespoke mental health assessments and treatments to children, young people and their families.

Since the clinic’s inception in 2017, our founder Dr. Jyoti Vandana has been pushing the boundaries in this realm alongside her NHS work. Her experience as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for over 15 years has established her in the private sector and beyond. She now leads a neuro-developmental service commissioned by a Clinical Commissioning Group.

The enthusiasm and initiative to provide a bespoke service, underpinned by evidence-based treatment, led to the founding of CHMC. Assisting her is a team of dedicated and experienced professionals who share her vision and unceasingly work to make it a reality.

In her own words, Dr. Vandana considers her personal experience as “… a privilege to have had such a long career working with young people and their families. I am grateful to them who have put their trust in me to offer them a safe space to talk about their difficult life stories and experiences. Hopefully, I have been able to provide them with some support and comfort, so that they feel empowered to carry on their lives with hope and optimism”.
