I work in the Wellness sphere but I’m certainly no angel 🤫

I’m not a huge believer in setting resolutions each January, but this year I felt as if I needed to draw a line in the sand, get off my backside and put my health first.

So what have I done?

I’ve signed up to walk 62 miles (100 km if using metric like me) in January. Why I needed a date set for this and not start moving before I’ve no idea but there you go. Sometimes you just have to go with what works.

3.52 km down and I have to say my fitness levels are sh1te. I look forward to doing a lap of the woods at the end of January in a much quicker time.

So this is me, telling it how it is.
I’ll be focusing on getting back into my supplements and essential oil regime too which will give me a much needed energy boost.

So I wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2026 and remember you’re not alone.

Arctic Roll…. The Fianale 🙌. It’s Christmas Day, and so I don’t upstage His Majesty at 3pm, I’m closing the Arctic Roll Diary early (plus it’s time for puds 😉)

Essential Oils, not just a smell but used for so many things.
It really can be life changing.

If you’re interested, let’s have a chat.

A young patient.

With a heavy diagnosis.

Living in the hospital.

Having severe pain.

Open to holistic options.

Curious about aromatherapy.

Parents willing to try.

Doctors are supportive.

A nurse who was open to help.

East meets West.

Samples of oils carried in syringes.

Labeled for the patient.

Parents educated on how to use them safely.

Diffusing oils in the room.

Patient had a good night.

Parents noticed the pleasant smell.

For one moment, they were comforted.

For one moment , it didn’t feel like a hospital room.

Dad refilled the diffuser.

Parents now running the aromatherapy 24/7.

Nurses noticing the room smells uplifting.

Are oils a magic bullet? No.

Is it a tool that can bring comfort and emotional support during a challenging time? Yes.

More and more hospitals are incorporating aromatherapy and DōTERRA oils into their systems.

Change is coming.

And when I saw a syringe filled with pure dōTERRA essential oils, I got chills.

This is why I educate.

This is why I share.

Because one small drop of oil can bring a moments comfort to someone else.

And when someone is living in a heavy world with pain.

Offering a moment of comfort to another person is a gift.

Note: Essential oils should NOT be injected. This was the method the hospital was comfortable with having the oils in. After the syringes were filled, the needle was removed and they were capped. This allowed them to label the syringes with the oils and treat them like they would a patient’s medications while in the hospital. They could also accurately track the dose and amount of oil used for aromatherapy. They would drop the oils into the diffuser to diffuse for the patient. This method of oil storage was being used temporarily until the patient’s own oils arrived.

Arctic Roll part 3… the end is in sight

I’ll have to give you the full in edited version (mainly as I can’t work out where to cut it) and the ice cream element had somewhat melted because we were laughing so much 😂

I think there is a semblance of the finished article beginning to show itself… but look out for the photo on Christmas Day and the verdict from youngest son and my dear old Dad.
