"It is not joy that makes us grateful...it is gratitude that makes us joyful"
Today I was grateful for this beautiful walk on the beach in the winter sun.
I saw a murmuration, heard the waves, tasted the salt in the air, felt the wind tossle my hair and I felt truly alive and in the moment.
Giving gratitude is so important to me. I have been sharing this practice with my clients in a meditation of "Drifting of with gratitude"
Follow these simple steps for yours ❤️
Focus on your breath as you settle down to sleep and relax into a comfortable position.
After a short time take your awareness to your heart and begin to shift to Gratitude.
The best way to fall asleep is to shine a bright light on all the good in our lives.
Breathe in gratitude and exhale appreciation for all the simple things in our lives, like food in our fridge, hobbies, work, a walk, reading a book.
Our family, friends, pets and their support and encouragement. People who know and love you and are constant.
Breathe in gratitude and exhale warm feelings of love and kindness to them and allow this ripple to spill out into the world 🌎 for all to share and pass on.
Add in your own personal gratitude's....and as you exhale, let go allow your body to soften even further. Grounded and still, knowing this moment is all you need as you drift off to a deep, deep peaceful sleep full of gratitude. ❤️
