When suggesting Acupuncture to people I get a lot of responses centred around "I don't like needles"
I don't think anyone actually likes them, however there seems to be a preconception that acupuncture needles are like having a blood test. Firstly acupuncture needles are not hyper dermic so they are not hollow as there is no need for them to be, second the needles are so fine some just the width of a strand of hair.

Where some points maybe uncomfortable the majority of points people don't even feel and as a needle phobic person myself who has regular acupuncture treatments, which everyone finds quite comical considering my profession, I can empathise with anyone who even has a slight fear.

Here at The Cornish Bee we take these fears seriously and always talk the patient through their treatment making sure that they are comfortable throughout.

Acupuncture is such a wonderful treatment for so many ailments, it has certainly made me face my fears, as the pros so far out weigh the cons.
