📖Short children’s story 📖
🐧✨Two little penguins were feeling very wobbly about going back to school. They’d only just snuggled back into their igloo after Christmas, the thought of leaving home made their tummy flip.

🏫 School didn’t seem to understand why things felt hard. Penguin worried their nervous system might get overwhelmed, they felt like the odd one out.

✨🐻‍❄️One frosty morning, they met a glittery polar bear. This wasn’t just any polar bear – this one understood. The bear knew which bits of school were tricky and had ideas to make things easier. They met with the penguin, their parent and school.Together, they helped teachers see what the penguin needed. They made a sparkling coping plan that included:
✅ A quiet corner for when the classroom felt too busy.
✅ Movement breaks to help calm their bodies.
✅ A feelings chart so they could show how they felt without words.
✅ A trusted adult check-in at the start, middle and end of the day.
✅ Clear routines so surprises didn’t feel scary.
✅ Using senses and muscle work to calm and meet sensory needs.
✅ Simple instructions bullet pointed with visuals to help predict and understand their day and tasks-sometimes penguin thought of other things when the class was too much or they didn’t understand.

💎 With this plan, penguin could feel safe, calm, and ready to learn. Now, penguin knows they’re not odd at all. They’re brave, unique, and supported.

✨With a little glitter and understanding, school feels like a place where they belong.

💡 How to Be a Glittery Polar Bear:🐻‍❄️

✨ Listen first – worries often shrink when they’re heard.
✨ Work together – parents and teachers can create simple coping plans.
✨ Offer predictability – clear routines help anxious children feel safe.
✨ Create calm spaces – even a small corner can make a big difference.
✨ Celebrate strengths – remind them they are amazing!

can bring mixed emotions and overwhelm to many people.
Society, media and movies all tell us we should all be happy and joyful and sometimes life isn’t delivered in this way, especially when individuals experience difference, which can bring: abuse, discrimination, bullying, un fair treatment due to not being understood, having difficulty can be seen as a hindrance rather than a strength- and some may also experience coercive control.

⚠️ Abuse and discrimination is illegal and is never ok. Reach out to someone close or ring 999 if there is danger to immediate safety. 🎄 At Christmas and every day- everyone naturally seeks connection kindness and to be valued and accepted.
🎄 You can say NO to spending time with people who make you feel: upset, on edge, hurt, worthless, un-wanted, scared.
🎄 Being with less people who treat you right and with care, love and understanding brings more inner peace than being in a room and being scared and abused.
🎄 It’s ok if that person who shows respect, care and love is yourself, a small group of friends/ neighbours or even a community or group linked to a faith or club where you feel you belong.
🎄 It’s ok to do things differently and find a place where you are truly valued for who you are and the strength you have- this will be celebrated by the right people.
🎄 You may need time alone to heal in order to re build confidence and strength to value yourself to find the new community for you- to gain new connections and relationships you may not have now. That is ok.
🎄 Treat yourself to self care, growth and healing THIS Christmas to start lighting your path into 2026 where your inner light can light the way to new boundaries and beginnings.
🎄 Be kind to YOU and those who are important this Christmas.

✨ What act of kindness, for yourself, will choose this Christmas? ✨

Today’s Winter Solstice brings both darkness and light. Time to Reflect, Release, Rest and listen to the rhythm of life, our families, and what this year, and what it may have re-triggered from our past, to now need to be heard and understood to inform us where we’d like our future to lead us, or how we’d like to feel, accept or achieve differently, in the upcoming New Year.

❄️ Knowing darkness is temporary and you are worth being cared for, to talk about difficulties and to seek help overcome and make sense of overwhelming, distressing thoughts, emotions and body sensations.
❄️ We can only truly see the light to guide us, when it is dark. The peaceful night sky enhances constellations that are still used to navigate.🧭 🌌
❄️ Rest and healthy expression, is required to heal and make sense of what has happened and how to understand.
🌎 The earth and nature rests - returning more beautiful than ever in growth and bloom. 🌱 🪴🌲
❄️ Allowing self care and development of boundaries- protecting vital energy that is needed for you- and your family.
❄️ Giving permission to say no if you are no longer able to make a commitment is ok - both physical and mental health and wellbeing takes president.
❄️ Chronic health and pain can affect thought cycles and is also ok to reflect and express how this changes in the cold temperatures, to prevent lowered mood and further isolation. ❄️ Checking on loved ones and vulnerable neighbours can make a big difference as cold sets in.
❄️ Planning small nice things to soothe us helps in the moments.
❄️ Difficulties can turn into strength - sometimes we need a little help to guide us, for long term emotional understanding, articulation, coping skills and wellbeing.

🌱 Support is bespoke and tailored to individual need and reflected within plans to enable the legal right to access to education to develop: acceptance, understanding and allowing strength to re design how school curriculum is accessible by developing an individual educational plan alongside therapeutic sessions (individual/ family) to develop coping skills which are shared and implemented at home and school environments to fully create a consistent cooperative environment with working relationships to tweak and differentiate where needed as life changes.

🫶🏼Each child and family are different and the way learning takes place is different- adaptation of the curriculum goals are required by law and school targets will also increase by having a child centred plan whereby the child can remain in school- feeling validated, understood and valued.

🤳 I wanted to show myself more

🙋🏻‍♀️I prioritise and within: family dynamics, attachment, inclusive needs, neurodiversity, trauma, siblings,education-class plans and support to remain IN school, to have needs understood, removing ‘unwanted’ stress-filled behaviour which is often a result of un-met needs not being met within schools, home & education environments.

🚨NOT a fault of the child/ family!🚨

⏳ Those waiting long time periods for neuro profiling ‘help’ while giving extended time for emotional dysregulation and crisis to brew at home/ school including school refusal and education welfare meetings and court processes for families. ❌

💡 What if we paused and made time to understand the holistic:educational, emotional, neurological, sensory and physical needs of each individual and ensured accessible learning is implemented: as in the government legislation that gives rights for each child to access inclusive education- in line with their needs?! That also states mental health is protected NOT hindered.

🔄 ‘If you always do, what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got’- is dedicated to understand and advocate for positive individualised change, within the system to meet needs and also improve school attendance records, classroom management and improve family dynamics and working relationships as a result.

✨ I can create bespoke Low cost no cost strategies and resources to be planned for and fostered in multi agency working - as conversations, easily made resources, connections and individual in-person practice and training, is most valuable, for consistent progress and feeling safety within education settings.

👥 Multi-agency working and information sharing with your consent included- empowering difficulties into strength.

🤞🏻🔗📧 I am currently looking into becoming a CIC - community interest company- to obtain funding for my service to extend to more people. But for now,I offer bundles, subsidised sessions and if applicable with educational providers could accept pupil premium/ send/ CIC/ social care funding to provide besboke care.

is and experienced within the arts, and to create therapeutic stories, social stories to help others -particularly children / teens/ families who may need extra support to understand what has happened through:talking, play, the arts, imagination and third person stories to help connect and relate to to emotions and situations they may not be fully connected with or donot yet understand what has occurred.

📖 I have always hand created therapeutic stories or comic story boards and am now learning ( and still developing) generating stories and hand crafting each image I visualise using technology.(out my comfort zone lol.)

✨ Once i have enough information of a families lived experiences,if appropriate within therapeutic relationship growth,I can create stories, narratives, play, using special interests, characters and even famous characters to visualise and transform therapeutic lessons to connect through the arts and play to embed positive:understanding, healing, removing un-necessary grief obsorbed by situations out of their control and often through interactions which have been un pleasant - either by an abusive home/ community environment, or bullying experienced within education environments.

❤️‍🩹Or an adverse life experience such as grief and loss, or family separation where life, mental health & emotions become overwhelming and entangled.

👥🗣️👤Individual and whole family support and liaising with others in the wider network will enhance healing, growth and embed healthy emotional: regulation, relationships, literacy and strength to heal and value oneself and develop self care and boundaries and self esteem moving forward.

Bundles and substidised sessions and exploration of pupil premium / send funding within schools if appropriate?

understands how can make people feel physically, emotionally and spiritually.

😢 Events feel heavy on victims, the abuser pre-plans their moves, seeking:confident, kind, secure individuals to target, and then shred characteristics after mirroring their personalities to weave into a life to benefit them only.

💔Breaking the chosen one’s in order to fulfil their ego and keep the circle of power. This is an intended long term supply.

❌ It can be dangerous and challenging to stop, and break that cycle as behaviour escalates making more un wanted situations for the victims to further remove the need for self accountability or taking responsibility for their actions and how they have left others feeling.

🔀Thought cycles are flooded with negativity and false opinions sent to keep them down. Creating a long term pattern of trauma- effecting adults, teenagers, children and babies alike.

🌪️ Ripple effects of feeling: to blame, worthless and deserving of the mistreatment is embedded well by the abuser and help is needed to disprove these false allegations.

🚩Behaviour changes can often be seen within: Homes, communities, nurseries, schools and colleges, and workplaces from victims who need support.

🚫Abuse is not ok- and often causes people to be so whittled down by the simple accumulation of demeaning and cruel events, behind closed doors - covered over in public and when with family, with the mask worn to others to reinforce the abusers cycle to be controlling and superior.

🤕 Hurt filled actions impact the empathic victims, their emotions show- then highlighted to others that they were the problem. Avoiding their planned behaviour and also severing victims from support or connection- which also intends to prevent victims from healing or understanding they were being mistreated.

🆘 and support with , managing disconnection to and life events as individuals and family groups can help heal, understand their journey and gain coping strategies within their home, and any education settings as part of their family.

Today is celebrating the dates in 1959 and 1989 when the UN General Assembly adopted key documents establishing an international legal framework for children’s rights, such as the rights to health, education, and protection.

Children have a right to: safety, to develop at their own paces, thrive, be treated fairly, have their voices heard, have an inclusive strength based education and care system, and to be empowered to improve the future and to be believed within their world and what happens around them: at home, in relationships, education and the community.

I have included an accessible version of the 42 articles this year - making children’s rights accessible to all.

celebrates strength and courage of men and highlights difficulties and gaps in society within inequality within men’s mental and spiritual health.
🩵Fatherhood- struggles of learning how to care for a baby, and the changes this brings to a relationship or what it brings up for you from how you were parented.
💙 The historic statement of ‘man up’ which insinuates men shouldn’t feel or express emotions, fear, worries or how their mood fluctuates- as well as labelling it as a derogatory term to insult another as they should just ‘man up.’
🩵 Men have a higher su***de rate and you worth being listened to and heard, and cared for: speaking of the many things weighing on the mind including the busy stressors of modern life.
💙 Abuse - boys and men experience abuse and if childhood abuse is not resolved, it can pose barriers and difficulties in adulthood. Which have a right to be heard and supported as much as any other gender. Men also experience domestic abuse as a singular or within a family environment.
🩵 Inequality with learning difficulties and neurodivergence cause difficulties in school, college, uni, and workplaces and within home and future relationships with friendships and romantic partners.
💙 Sitting with feelings and being vulnerable is brave and the strongest things that can occur to bring: peace, healing, better understanding and communication for you and those around you.
🩵 You are worth it.
💙You matter.
🩵Self Boundaries, permission to be vulnerable, and heard to re learn about your qualities and why you deserve to be present and live in the moment with those whom love you and develop self love and confidence.
💙 Reach out and check in to those whom you know. Especially if they are pushing loved ones away and not enjoying their usual activities as much as usual.
🩵A hug from a loved one also goes a long way. 🫂

A original short children’s-story of how, healthy attachments & relationships re-design our neuronal pathways on the inside🧠

I am an experienced trauma informed practitioner, designing creative, personalised re-wiring after: bad experiences, shock, grief and childhood trauma- which leaves un healthy attachment patterns which can break down relationships.

If children are-not allowed to be emotionally or physically safe their body becomes hardwired for stress and survival. When they finally find safety, they need longer term personalised support to make sense of their experiences, separate blame, guilt&learning healthy connections.

👥Relationship difficulties can also show with becoming a parent/ step parent/guardian-children’s emotions can be triggering for individuals whom have not been allowed to be vulnerable or show emotions. This changes interactions with children creating another stress/ trauma cycle. We call this intergenerational trauma.

🧠 Our brain is made up of neuroplasticity - meaning even as adults it can regrow neuron’s with dedication and consistency.

🌱 In Early childhood the brain develops its blue print:if most of what it receives is healthy, this is the core software and if mostly negative, it creates gaps, barriers, avoidance& chronic health difficulties as it will need a software update.

🫂Working with children/families as a whole, experiencing difficulties from any past events, anger, difficult extreme behaviour caused by: trauma, grief, neurodivergence, school systems/ refusal, anxiety, low mood,&having lived in/escaped family violence- long term outcomes can be positive. With help.

🔁❌ Healthy Cycles can be re learnt. If we for the next generation we can create a culture of regulated, young people with confidence, aspirations, self respect, empathy&accountability so in adulthood there are more consistent, positive and long term healthier outcomes in their lives and their connections at:
School, uni, work, romantic relationships, colleagues, neighbours, medical professionals and so on.
