💛 Doula Café at the Happy Mama Hub 💛

Are you preparing for birth or adjusting to life with a newborn? Looking for a space where you can ask questions, chat openly, or simply enjoy a cuppa. Pop down to The Happy Mama Hub on Tuesday 26th August between 11.30am - 1pm and join us.

This relaxed session is hosted by Cambridgeshire Doulas - so come along, grab a slice of cake or some lunch, and connect with other local parents in a welcoming space.

☕ What is a Doula?

A doula is someone who offers emotional, practical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. At the Doula Café, we’re here to hold space for you—whether you want to ask questions, explore your options, or simply share how you're feeling over a cuppa. We offer a reassuring presence to help you feel more informed, confident, and supported on your journey.

Anyone preparing for birth or in the postnatal period, whether your baby is weeks, months or a year old - or beyond! No time limits, no judgment—just a warm, welcoming space.

We had a lovely time at the monthly Doula Café today - offering a warm, welcoming space for expectant and new parents to connect, share, and feel supported. 💜

As doulas, we hold space, offer guidance and bring kindness & wisdom ☕️ 🍃

Part of yesterday’s shift with a postnatal client - re-stocking their fridge with some healthy, tasty meals, whilst looking after their baby so mama could sleep and have a shower.

What a glorious and oxytocin-filled week of work that included…

👶🏼 five postnatal sessions - split across supporting three postnatal clients

💐saying goodbye (for now.. it’s not the end!) to a gorgeous family I have spent a lot of time on/ off supporting over the past ~2.5 years. Still blown away by their kind words and gifts not only to me but my children too (who they’ve yet to meet!)

☕️ a social visit to a prior client - lovely to introduce my son to their family too

🤱🏼an afternoon of providing face to face breastfeeding support

☎️ a few hours spent taking calls on the National Breastfeeding Helpline

💻 an afternoon of sending out agreements and invoices for new clients

📆 preparing for another busy week ahead
