Eye pillows are fantastic for use during yoga, meditation assisting sleep and reducing stress.

From starting my small business in January 2021 after attending an online yoga retreat with my Mum, it has been a fantastic journey making this business from scratch!

From re-teaching myself to sew on a machine to learning an elevator pitch, designing my brand logo, finding and buying eco friendly packaging options, fighting with social media algorithms (😠), building my own website and a network of stockists across the UK, to collaborating with other small local businesses 💕

In the style of a '5-Year Handmade By Emily Jayne Unwrapped', here are some figures I found pretty amazing:

I originally started my small business during lockdown to keep myself occupied and since then I have been running it alongside a full time job; which has meant alot of evenings and weekends gone keeping up with orders and social media trends in order to be seen online... After 5 years, it is time to reconnect with myself and practice the self care I have been advocating by slowing down, trying the hobbies i've been dreaming of and going on adventures.

I am an Etsy UK Bestselling Shop in Spa and Gifts Category, and Etsy Recognised StarSeller this Christmas! ⭐ ... So you can imagine It's been a very busy few weeks making eye pillows to post all around the UK 🇬🇧

Exciting news if you are near , , , , (or any of the smaller villages in between!) as you can now pop into to purchase an organic eye pillow!

Absolutely thrilled to be working with the lovely Caroline in such a wonderful place full to the brim with fantastic independent businesses and more bespoke items 🥳

I've dropped off a wide (probably too wide!!) selection of eye pillows this morning in different fabrics and fillings to see what you like, but if there is a specific fabric in my range you adore and would like, please let me know so I can drop it off at the barn for you! 💕

Wildflower garden is a favourite pattern of mine (and yours too!). Within this order Amber had the fantastic idea to have the Organic Flaxseed (Unscented) filling in the Grey colourway, and Organic Flaxseed with Lavender in the Navy Blue to make it clear and easy for her clients - what a great idea! 🧘‍♀️

Organic eye pillows available at the amazing near and (... they have been for a little while, i've just been terrible at Instagram posts - sorry! 🤣)

With a variety of different fabrics to choose from I am sure you'll be able to create the perfect gift box or gift bundle for your loved one (or you!). Each eye pillow is made using and 100% fabrics and threads :)

Eye pillows are perfect for winding down and relaxing at the end of the day, with the weight of Organic Flaxseed stimulating the vagus nerve which helps to balance the nervous system.

Did you know all of my eye pillows contain Organic Flaxseed?

The flaxseed acts as both the weight to stimulate the vagus nerve (balancing your nervous system) and the natural oil density of the seeds retains temperature for longer than wheat or rice if you choose to heat or chill your eye pillow before use!

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) is a European Union (EU) regulation that will come into effect on December 13, 2024. The GPSR aims to ensure that all consumer products sold in the EU are safe, and it places specific obligations on businesses to ensure this. This includes hiring a compliance officer who is based in Europe or Northern Ireland to confirm the quality of my items.

Therefore, with regret, as of the 7th December 2024 I am no longer able to post my gorgeous eye pillows and lavender bags to Northern Ireland. This slightly earlier date is to account for last minute order postage times and personal commitments taking me away from my studio!

Furthermore, annoyingly I am unable to deselect Northern Ireland as a shipping option on my Etsy Store, so it seems you will still be able to place an order if you reside in NI; rest assured you will receive a full refund until resolve this 💕

Lastly, please shop small this Christmas to help save your local small businesses! With various markets cancelled today due to the , an increasingly difficult market battling against large businesses and this new GPSR regulation next week, I suspect we will see alot of small businesses dissappear over the next few months without your help.
