Another fun packed week of variety for Residents at The Cambridgeshire Care Home.

Wellbeing Lead, Tom Collen and Team member Dawn Badcock made sure Residents were invited to join in a number of wonderful activities. From carnival games, to music and movement plus watching Mamma Mia, enjoying the music and waving glo sticks.

Something for everyone. Good times with very happy Residents🤩

Residents were enjoying the Sunshine and making the most of our beautiful landscape gardens.

At The Cambridgeshire Care Home we ask for Residents suggestions in everything we do. This year Residents asked for more colourful flowers, we think we met their requests as everyone was highly delighted with these beautiful blooms.

Celebrating St Georges Day at The Cambridgeshire Care Home today in our tradition of style, excellence and amazing food followed by a party with a quiz and poetry🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Fantastic food, great company, super decorations and wonderful entertainment. Residents and Staff enjoyed another great day together.

Congratulations go to our Home Manager, Angela Ryan, who has been appointed as First Care Homes Operations Director.

Angela started with Helena, Rob and Paul Jeffery when they built Park View Care Home in Ipswich in 2012 then onto The Cambridgeshire Care Home in Great Shelford in 2016.

Angela is an excellent leader and fantastic ambassador who offers support and stability to our Residents, Staff and Families in our warm, friendly and welcoming homes.

Congratulations Angela we are so proud and delighted for you🥰🥰❤️❤️

Its always really sad to see staff leave The Cambridgeshire Care Home but for whatever reason they go we will always support them and celebrate together.

At The Cambridgeshire Care Home we love to celebrate Residents birthdays with their families.

Head Chef Kevin Bridges made two very special birthday cakes for two very special Residents. Norman had his absolute favourite lemon meringue genoese sponge cake and Marlene has her favourite black forest cake.

Thank you Amber from Performing Pets for another joyous afternoon at The Cambridgeshire Care Home with a visit from Lily The Lamb on a beautiful sunny day.

Lily was so well behaved, she visited every Resident, such a sociable little lamb. Everyone loved meeting her even Betsie the dog.
