Louise and I wish you all the very best for Christmas. Enjoy every minute with your families. Lots of love Louise and Kate

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.... 🎄

We'd like to wish all our thrivers past, present and future, our best wishes and thank you for all your engagement and inspiration over the past 12 months.

We aim to ensure our programme is the absolute best it can be and the feedback we receive and encouragement we gain from you is integral to the way the programme has and will continue to develop.

We are looking forward to 2023. We have some exciting changes and new material to make the programme as clear and easy to follow to ensure we help as many of you as possible achieve your goals.

We're here to show You CAN overcome mental health problems, you CAN take control of your life and you CAN learn to really thrive. You can make your life, better.

From all the team at The Thrive Programme, have a thriving time and see you in 2023!!

If you'd like to know more about Anxiety-Free Parenting, please read on.

If you’ve already been through The Thrive Programme (www.thriveprogramme.org) you’ll understand the importance of managing your mental health well. Did you know that when you demonstrate this, you’ll be influencing your children in the same way? We want you to be the only mental health role model your kids need, so to help you achieve this, we’ll be running half-termly online courses. If you’re interested, please email Louise.Kate.ttpedu@hotmail.com. We’d love to hear from you and what you would find most helpful. Kate

After our most recent Anxiety-free Parenting support group yesterday, Louise and I realised that we have been running these sessions once a fortnight since March 2020. The group has been a safe place for parents to speak about the issues they were facing during the lockdown, homeschooling and furlough.
As things appear to be improving a little, the unexpected still happens, and homeschooling and isolation are still possible.
It's not surprising that not only us but our children find this frustrating. The thought of homeschooling again can often create an emotional tailspin for everyone.
This issue was the theme of our evening's conversation.
There appears to be so much emphasis and perceived pressure from children themselves , parents, school etc. that they have to get things right.
We promote the idea that it is far better to encourage children to recognise the effort they put into things, for example practising new skills, recognition of their improvement. As well as these practical skills, it's also about learning how to keep themselves calm, cope well when things don't go according to plan, or set themselves small challenges that will help them reach their goal.

Louise and I really love what we do and if you would like to join our online group please email us at louise.kate.ttpedu@hotmail.com and we will contact you.
