From 8th September, I’ll officially be completing my Master’s in Adult Nursing full-time! 🩺 This does mean my treatment diary will be changing – for the foreseeable future I’ll only be taking appointments on weekends and limited evenings.

📅 Week commencing 1st September will be the last week I’ll be offering full-time hours, so if you’ve been thinking about booking in, now’s the time.

Here’s what you need to know:
🩸 Swelling can vary due to blood flow, sleeping position, natural asymmetry & even how your body reacts.

“Does it hurt?” — My most asked question about lip filler!

At By Moni Aesthetics, your comfort is a top priority. Before treatment, a strong medical-grade numbing cream is applied to the lips to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible — most of my clients say they barely feel a thing!

The procedure itself takes under 10 minutes, and afterwards, you won’t feel any discomfort. However, light swelling or bruising is completely normal.

To manage swelling:
• You can take ibuprofen to reduce inflammation
• Apply a clean, wet cold cloth or a cooling pack to soothe the area

Important:
Never apply frozen items like ice directly from your freezer to your lips! This can alter the filler molecules and affect your results.
