Quick update from Dan whilst he's out with the charity Mission With A Vision - Kenya.
Very much a non-osteopathic post but this is a charity very dear to me, one that has changed the lives of 1000's of girls and communities in Kenya. Through rescuing girls at risk of FGM (Female Ge***al Mutilation) and forced early marriage and then empowering them through education they transform lives.
The impact of these girls being empowered then ripples out to wider communities as the villages where these harmful practices and beliefs are held start to see the potential for girls to be so much more than a dowry payment. Ending the vicious violent cycle and instead giving hope and prosperity to a new generation of girls.
