Pembroke College Music Society - PCMS Pembroke College Music Society puts on a range of classical and popular concerts each term.

Pembroke College Music Society is for all musicians in Pembroke who wish to continue to enjoy their music in a supportive and sympathetic environment. PCMS gives regular concerts throughout Full Term and encourages students to play or sing in these. We also encourage the student body to support these performances by attending our concerts, which are on Saturdays at 2.00 pm and last for just under an hour. There are also Kenderdine Concerts held each term in the College and these are generally on Saturdays at 4.00 pm.

We're excited to welcome back Rhys this Friday (14th March) to give a short concert of choral meditations for Lent including some of their own compositions! 😍

PCMS is delighted to be hosting singers from Cambridge and beyond to perform Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem at 5pm in the Auditorium on Saturday 22nd February!!

Calling all singers!! On the 22nd February 2025, PCMS will be hosting a Come and Sing Brahms: Ein deutsches Requiem event in our gorgeous Auditorium.

No prior experience with Brahms' Requiem is required - all you need is excitement to sing one of the best choral works of all time! (Now, you might think the PCMS publicity admins are slightly biased here, but we promise we're not exaggerating - it is an absolutely incredible piece of music 😍)

From 1:30-4:30pm, we'll rehearse, socialise and enjoy a well-deserved tea break, before singing through the piece together at 5pm.
