Between 2024/25, we supported more than 8,000 local people. Help us to reach more people in our communities. Together, we can keep raising awareness of mental health and raise vital funds to help us support, develop, and grow our services. The more awareness we create together, the closer we are to ending stigma associated with mental health

Let’s get festive, get active, and make a difference together! ✨

Meet Becky, a registered nurse and lifelong runner who is taking on the Cambridge Half Marathon in support of CPSL Mind. 💙

After surviving a life-threatening mental health crisis and celebrating six years of sobriety, Rebecca is sharing her story to break stigma and help others feel less alone.

She hopes her journey will encourage people to reach out, talk openly about mental health, and get support before reaching crisis point.

Rebecca is aiming to raise £500 and will be cheered on by her husband and family as she tackles her fourth half marathon. 🏃‍♀️✨

Meet Allan — our wonderful Co-production Lead🌟

“I’ve been part of CPSL Mind for around 10 years, working in a variety of roles along the way. I first joined on a part-time basis while balancing other things in my life, but it didn’t take long for me to realise that this was where I wanted to be. Working here sparked a real passion for mental health and supporting people in meaningful ways.

In my role as Co-production Lead, I work alongside people with lived experience, staff, volunteers, and community partners to shape our services and make sure their voices are genuinely heard and acted on. It’s a role that challenges and inspires me in equal measure.

What I love most is seeing ideas grow into real changes that make a difference — whether that’s improving a service, creating something new, or helping people feel more involved. CPSL Mind has been a huge part of my journey, and I’m proud to be part of a team that’s dedicated to making mental health better for everyone.”

💙 Thank you, Allan, for your passion, commitment, and for championing the voices of those with lived experience.

Sometimes, all it takes is a chat to make a difference 💙

At CPSL Mind, we’re here to help our community connect, share, and support one another.

These benches are at Ortongate Centre, who say: "The benches provide designated places that encourage people to meet and talk, even if they don't know each other. We want to encourage moments of interaction to support those who have experienced loneliness and for anybody who might be struggling."

Being a dad can bring incredible joy, but it can also come with challenges. That’s why CPSL Mind’s Perinatal Service now offers dedicated mental health support for dads across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.

Gary Clarke, Perinatal Project Dads Worker, shares this message:
“Your wellbeing matters. Your feelings are valid. And it’s okay to ask for support. Like any important role, it’s okay to ask for guidance and encouragement along the way. Let’s break the stigma and normalise talking about dads’ mental health.”

You’re not alone — we’re here to help.

The Good Life Fund by CPSL Mind offers grants of up to £1,500 to help bring community projects to life across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire – encouraging connection, wellbeing, and mental health support.

One of the brilliant groups we’ve recently supported is Alright Mate?, a men’s mental health support group based at Wisbech Rugby Club.

Alright Mate? provides a safe, welcoming space for local men to chat, connect, and support each other – whether they’re struggling with their mental health or just need someone to talk to.

Craig, one of the facilitators, shared:
“The CPSL Mind Good Life Fund has played a vital role in helping Alright Mate? Fenland get off the ground and reach out to local men to support their mental health and wellbeing. Without the support from CPSL Mind, we wouldn’t be where we are today. For me, it’s all about creating a safe space where men can feel comfortable opening up, talking about their problems, and finding understanding and support from like-minded people.”

The group is completely free to attend – just pop by whenever you like. To find out when their next meet-up is, head over to their page: Alright Mate? Fenland.

World Kindness Day 🌍💙

Today we’re celebrating World Kindness Day — a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Whether it’s checking in on a friend, offering a smile to a stranger, supporting family, or showing compassion to yourself, kindness builds the connections that help our communities thrive.

This beautiful illustration capturing the spirit of kindness in Ely is by Roxana de Rond. It captures the heart of one of the communities we’re proud to serve — a place where we’re helping to nurture a culture of care, understanding, and kindness. A huge thank you to Roxana for creating this exclusive piece for us.

Let’s keep spreading kindness — today and every day! ✨
