Today, together with Cambridge Manor Care Home, we delivered 139 cakes to the Food Bank, Maple Court, Emmaus and Jimmy’s Shelter.
On such a cold day, it was emotional to think that some people don’t have a warm, safe space to call home.

🎄 Christmas Chocolate Appeal for Addenbrooke’s Patients 🎄
It’s never easy spending the festive season in hospital, so we’d love to help brighten the days of patients at Addenbrooke’s this Christmas. 💛
We’re collecting chocolate donations to deliver just in time for Christmas Day. If you’d like to contribute, please drop your chocolates off at Cherry Hinton Care Home anytime between now and 17th December.
Let’s spread a little sweetness and make this Christmas feel a bit warmer for those who have to stay in hospital. 🍫✨

🌟 A Meaningful Day at the Remembrance Dance 🌟
Yesterday, our resident Harold, BDM Aga, and our wonderful Wellbeing Coordinator Ella joined the inspiring Remembrance Dance event. It was a beautiful session filled with reflection, movement, and connection.
We also had the pleasure of speaking with ITV, who captured some special moments from the day. Harold shared his thoughts during the interview — and as always, his words were full of warmth and wisdom. ❤️

🎄✨ Calling All Local Stallholders! ✨🎄
We’re excited to announce that Cherry Hinton Care Home will be hosting our Winter Fair on Saturday 6th December, from 2pm to 5pm! ❄️
Our garden will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland, complete with:
🐴 Pony visits
🎨 Face painting
🎶 Carol singing
🍰 Delicious food and festive drinks

We’re currently looking for local crafters, bakers, and small businesses who would like to hold a Christmas stall at our event. It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase your products, meet the community, and spread some festive cheer!

Today, we came together at Cherry Hinton Care Home to honour Remembrance Day 🌺 Residents and team members observed a respectful two-minute silence, listened to the news, and reflected on the significance of the day. Afterwards, we created our own beautiful poppy wreaths as a tribute to those who served.
While reminiscing about the past, everyone agreed how fortunate we are to live in a time of peace. 🌺 Wearing a poppy is a show of support for the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, veterans and their families ❤️
