It was a fantastic opportunity to learn together, with lots of great questions and lively discussions—especially about our weekly fire tests and how we keep everyone safe. It’s wonderful to see such enthusiasm and engagement from our residents!

We were delighted to welcome Skills for Care to Cherry Hinton Care Home as part of their Apprenticeship Roadshow! 🙌

What a fantastic time at Shake, Rattle and Roll! 🎶 The 60s, 70s and 80s songs had everyone singing along and brought back so many wonderful memories. The outing was truly loved by all—full of smiles, laughter, and great energy. Can’t wait for the next one! 💃🕺

What an unforgettable afternoon with some fascinating (and slightly creepy!) creatures

From tarantulas to snakes and lizards, we had the chance to get up close and personal with them all! Some of us were instantly in love, while others showed real bravery and faced their fears head-on.

Lots of smiles, a few squeals, and plenty of amazing memories made!

A huge thank you to ZooLab for such an interactive and exciting experience 🧡

Celebrating our resident's birthday with a lovely flower arranging session.
Residents joined in to create beautiful arrangements together, making it a joyful shared celebration. It was made even more special with a surprise visit from her family, which truly delighted her. ❤️

We had a wonderful outing to the Fitzwilliam Museum.
Residents enjoyed exploring the fascinating art from Ancient Egypt and learning more about its history. We were also lucky with the weather and spent some time relaxing in the sunshine after our visit.

Spreading Easter joy beyond our home 💛🐣

Residents, their families, and team members at Cherry Hinton Care Home came together to donate Easter eggs to the children’s ward at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
With a special helping hand from the local fire engines, the delivery was made even more exciting and memorable!

A beautiful reminder that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
