From Nick Pineault's (and I fully agree) thoughts on how we can help humanity heal individually and collectively and make this place a little bit better.
1) Permaculture
Agriculture can be sustainable and feed everyone on the planet -- and without using chemical-based farming techniques. Permaculture strategies are the proof.
By using a combination of permaculture and other strategies which work in harmony with nature (and not against it), we can feed ourselves, regenerate biodiversity and avoid poisoning our planet & ourselves further.
2) Get lobbyists out
Governmental agencies are captured by industry, all around the world. I may be naive, but I still consider lobbyism a legal type of corruption.
Lobbyism and regulatory capture moves humanity in a direction where an industry makes more money, but often at the detriment of the greater good. EMFs are just an example… countless other examples were obvious throughout 2020…
3) Promote self-healing and “self-sufficient health”
The average person still doesn’t know how to keep themselves healthy… and it’s not really their fault. Our modern environments and lifestyles are basically the antithesis of health -- artificial light, EMFs, food, etc.
I believe that if we integrated ancient wisdom and modern technology, we could eliminate the chronic disease epidemic. It all starts with prevention: Teaching our kids how to take health into their own hands, instead of outsourcing it to the medical system.
4) Promote multidisciplinary, multifactorial science
Researchers are trying to find the sole cause of a sole disease. “What’s the ONE reason we are facing this autism epidemic”? This line of thinking is bound to fail miserably.
In reality, we might have thousands of factors which are affecting our youth’s ability to develop a healthy brain. We need to identify the most likely factors (heavy metals, pesticides, EMFs, disrupted microbiome, etc.), and go from there.
Alzeimer’s research by Dr. Bredesen is a great example of how this holistic approach needs to be applied in the treatment of chronic disease too.
5) Promote healthy mental health & spiritual practices
Before 2020, Western society was already facing a mental health disaster. After 2020, things have gotten much worse.
The average person spends way too much time on devices, and not enough time engaging in practices which nurture their soul and body like breathwork, meditation, spending time in a sauna, exercising, or even just taking a nap.
Regardless of your religion, engaging in practices to find and maintain your inner strength -- and a higher purpose -- is essential. I’ve come to believe that these practices might be more important than any pill you can take… natural or not.
6) Community, connection & laughter
We’ve become more isolated than ever before. This has definitely taken a toll on my mental health, and I’ve realized how much human contact is critical for me.
Turns out that human connection (and ZOOM DOESN’T COUNT) is an essential part of life, not just an option you can turn “ON” and “OFF” as you please, because you believe it’ll make your global health policies more efficient…
More than ever, we need to find like-minded people and organize our lives around these in-person and online “villages” -- based around common interests or goals.
I believe that in order to fully heal there needs to be consideration of the whole which includes our communities, our planet, our relationships with everything. There is a free summit starting this Saturday featuring: health freedom, agriculture, spiritual practices, and many other discussions around how we can build a brighter future -- make sure to tune into:
