Do you have Type 1 diabetes ?

Interested in getting up to date information, education and support with diabetes management?

The DAFNE course is a structured education programme for people with Type 1 diabetes and has been running in the UK for nearly 20 years. The course has many different formats (face to face and online)

· Full week face to face (5 days)
· One day a week for 5 weeks face to face
· NEW remote courses with self directed online learning and 5 weekly video calls .
· DAFNE for people with type 1 diabetes using pumps (remote)

If your diabetes care is not already with the Wolfson diabetes clinic at Addenbrookes, ask your GP to refer you for DAFNE via the usual CUH C&B system, by just marking the request DAFN

DAFNE stands for Dose Adjustment For Normal Eating. It aims to help adults with type 1 diabetes lead as normal a life as possible.
