Today, Maria and Mel were proud to donate £176 to Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, raised from our Christmas Carol Memorial Service held at Cambridge Crematorium.

You may have seen in the news recently that Arthur Rank Hospice sadly lost a substantial grant, putting some hospice spaces at risk. Thankfully, enough funding has been raised to protect those spaces for this year, but continued support is still urgently needed to secure the future in the years ahead.

Arthur Rank Hospice provides compassionate care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as vital help for their families and loved ones. Their work brings comfort, dignity, and kindness when it matters most, both in the hospice and out in the community.

We’re Hiring – Funeral Service Specialist (Arranger)

Weymans are looking for a compassionate and professional Funeral Service Specialist Level One to join our dedicated team. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone who is organised, caring, and committed to supporting families at some of the most important moments of their lives.

Role: Funeral Service Specialist Level One.
Hours: Part-time – Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm

The role involves arranging funerals with families, providing guidance and reassurance, and ensuring every service is carried out with dignity, care, and attention to detail.

If you have strong communication skills, empathy, and a calm, professional manner, we would love to hear from you. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Thank you to everyone that sent in their tags for our branch memory tree 🤍

Today, we carefully posted these special tags into the Letters to Heaven post box at Fenland Crematorium
We wanted to make sure every message was sent on its way before Christmas, carrying love, thoughts and memories at such a meaningful time of year.

Each tag represents a cherished memory, a message of love, and a moment shared with someone who will always be remembered. Seeing so many heartfelt tributes reminds us how powerful it is to have a place to pause, reflect, and stay connected to those we hold close, even when they are no longer with us.

On Friday, we were welcomed to Holy Trinity Church in Hildersham for the funeral service and burial in the churchyard of a much-loved gentleman.
Our Funeral Director, Elf, took a quiet moment to appreciate the beauty of the church, made even more special by the bright winter sunshine.
