I'm doing some research on burnout. This is to improve/develop my online coaching programme. If you've experienced burnout (or some element of it in your opinion), would you be willing to fill out my survey? It takes about 5-12 mins!

I've written an article on burnout inspired by my recent interviews with women who've experienced burnout. I'd love to know what your thoughts are - I feel like I'm dispelling my own previous beliefs about the causes of burnout. It's not as simple as overwork leads to burnout. In this article I describe a different theory.

Trying to balance lemons on lemons and make it work?

When you're too exhausted to make lemonade..... don't sweat it. Hire a coach.

Coaching helps you to see where you are working too hard without reward, and where you could be spending your energies and talents more .... fruitfully.

Now it begins.
The house is quiet (my toddler was happy to go into nursery yesterday after nearly a month off!).
Floor hoovered.
I’m starting 2022 off on the right foot.

I am so excited for this year to be a new beginning. I’ve just got off a call with my coach and I feel a lot more positive.

Here are some of the simple ways I’m going to prevent burnout in 2022:

Yoga and/or Reiki meditation in the morning
Switching off from work mode in the evening
Take one weekend off from parenting mode a month to rest.

This may not sound like a lot, but it’s significant to me, and the beauty is in the implementation, ie creating that space against the backdrop of family and work life.

May your 2022 be harmonious and fun in every way you want it to be!
