Our ethos is person-centred which means that we believe you will have within your self your team and your organisation the knowledge of 'what's going on' and what's needed, but it may not be in your conscious mind, have been aired or spoken about and that the information/ evidence needs exploring, organising and collating. These areas of People analytics, emotional intelligence and Mindfulness are hot topics in business right now but have been an established 'truth' in therapy for many many years and we are hugely experienced in this way of working with people.
We know that people are most able to change (resistance lowers) when they feel listened to, understood and their issues are accepted (even if they cannot be solved)
Deep self-diagnosis ensures that the right issues are solved, in the right order, using the right people. Often when invited to share issues people voice them and then are able to let go of them especially the smaller and more individual things. If there is no space for the true issues to be aired safely then people will continue to hold any difficulties, negative views and resistance (whilst appearing positive) and these will become a more entrenched block to getting them to a positive, engaged and empowered place. Often organisations are ‘bashing rats!’, knocking each problem on the head as it surfaces without having the time or the expertise to find the underlying causes. Our diagnostic approach uses experts in the field and well-boundaried processes to create a safe and supportive environment to uncover the deeper root causes immediately leaving you with a detailed report and four or five clearly identified areas to work on. Doing a diagnostic in this way gives you timely information to target the real issues, adjust strategies and avoid wasted efforts ‘rat bashing’. This process also generates momentum and the desire to ‘see things happen’, with commitment, engagement and empowerment from those involved to roll up their shirtsleeves and get to work.
