Sadly, as a Veterinary Physiotherapist I have found myself in situations where an owner and/or their dog is in an abusive situation, often with alcohol and drug abuse in the mix. Vet physios may be the only professionals that enter the home and can pick up on the signs. Up until now I was often unsure of what to do with such a sensitive situation, so I was very pleased to see an email in my inbox addressing this issue with the launch of the Freedom Porject by the Dogs Trust.

Cambridge Veterinary Physiotherapy will be supporting this project, starting with sharing this link https://youtu.be/Gq3GITxq0u4

Great news! πŸ΄πŸ“£ A Bill to ban live exports to slaughter from Great Britain was laid before the UK Parliament today. Thanks to everyone who has taken part in our campaigns to urge the UK Government to act on this issue, your support really does make a difference. We now need to get this Bill over the line and into law. If you have not already done so, please take our action to email your local MP and ask them to ensure smooth passage of this Bill through the House of Commons πŸ‘‰ https://bit.ly/45YPle7
