🤍 Caring for others—whether a child, student, friend, parent, or partner—can be both a privilege and a weight. An honour, and at times, a worry. We give willingly, often without reserve.
🤍 As women, we so often pour our love into others… yet we must also pour that love back into ourselves.
🤍 Whether that replenishment comes through nature, breath, prayer, or movement—it’s about pausing to connect with a source both far greater than ourselves, and yet the most intimate part of who we are.
🤍This requires tender honesty. The courage to sit with yourself and ask: What do I need right now? So that your own heart—your own cup—can be replenished.
🤍Notice how I use the word support rather than refill. We may guide, hold, or steady those we love, but the deeper work of healing—be it physical, emotional, or mental—can only be done by them.
🤍So I offer you this gentle sequence, whether you find yourself in the role of supporter or receiver:
✨One hand to heart & belly, connecting to your breath
✨ Seated spirals to shift stagnant energy
✨ Twisted Roots to melt into hips and lower back, soothing the nervous system
✨ A supported Tree to invite space, lightness, and breath
✨ And finally, Supported Baddhakonasana with Yoni Mudra, to rest deeply in tenderness
🤍May it bring you balance, ease, and the reminder that you, are in all-ways worthy of care.
With love, Ray🤍
