Following my previous post about how I found Reiki, today I want to share a little more about the journey on how I've balanced faith, intuition, and discernment.
Over the years, I’ve seen how much of a positive impact it’s had on me, my clients, and the many who returned again and again.
But when I rebranded Glorious Light from the previous Golden Light , I felt a quiet call to pause. To step back, reflect, and understand Reiki on a deeper level.
I didn’t want to offer something unless I truly knew it helped.
So for a while, I stopped doing Reiki, crystal healing, and card readings, and went inward.
Through my own research, prayer, and reflection, my understanding of Reiki has become very simple now.
Reiki is a cosmic therapy, an energy that exists beyond our world, in what many call the 5D and higher realms.
Just as the Earth provides us with plants, herbs, and aromatherapy, Reiki is another natural form of energy healing that exists all around us. For "them" living in a higher state of being it's so natural, it's everywhere. And not just Reiki as we know it, but many other "plants" ( other forms of energy healing).
It was first channelled to Earth by a monk in Japan named Mikao Usui, who connected to that same frequency of light.
Reiki itself isn’t a religion. But in modern times, it’s often mixed or associated with New Age practices.
And that’s something I wanted to look at more deeply.
I’ve experienced both New Age spirituality and Christianity. ( In Romania I was raised Orthodox, and going to church and seeing the holy liturgy services, the smell of burned frankincense and the priest singing is part of my roots).
This isn’t about religion or labels (as Ziggy Marley beautifully says, “Love is my religion” 😁), but I feel it’s important to be honest about what I’ve learned.
Reiki doesn’t cure illnesses. It doesn’t replace medicine.
It’s a complementary therapy. It's something that can soothe, calm, and support the body’s natural balance while medical professionals care for the physical aspect. And also it does not replace a higher spiritual advice from a Priest, Pastor, Guru, and so on (depending on the culture).
And through my journey, I’ve come to realise something even deeper.
There is one ultimate healer, and His name is God. 🙏
Prayer is far more powerful than we often realise.
God listens. He’s there for us in the smallest moments, even at the blink of an eye.
These days, I start every morning with God and end every day with gratitude.
If you ask me for my three secrets — they’re simple: God, Jesus, and Gratitude.
That’s when I understood the difference between New Age and divine truth.
I no longer “believe in the Universe”. I know it was created by Him, with infinite beauty and wisdom for every culture on Earth.
For this reason, I stopped doing card readings and crystal healings, and now I simply guide others to connect with their own inner light and faith, in whatever form that takes.
I practice Reiki as what it truly is: just an energy therapy.
But the real healing, always, comes with the help of God. 🌿
Reiki is still quite new to humanity, it was discovered only a few hundred years ago, so it’s natural that people are still exploring it, feeling curious, or even skeptical. It all makes perfect sense.
Just follow your intuition. It knows the way. ✨

These photos were taken during my visit to Tate Modern in October 2025.
(1) 🖼️ Landscape of Longing (1997–99) by Saleem Arif Quadri
It reflects spiritual quests and the mysteries of life through organic, calligraphic forms, almost like energy moving through matter.
(2) 🖼️Linear Construction No. 2 (1970–71) by Naum Gabo
It captures invisible forces through delicate nylon threads and light, showing how energy, space, and form can exist in perfect balance, fluid yet in a perfect structure.
