Darwin Nurseries & Farm Shop Darwin Nurseries is more than just a farm shop, it’s a place you can slow down and spend some time with the family.. Pop in to our cafe for cakes and savouries.

Darwin Nurseries is a NHS horticulture project and farm shop where adults with disabilities have the opportunity to take part in supported work experience in horticulture, retail, cafel and animal care. Please come and visit our well stocked farm shop for all your gardening equipment and seeds. We sell locally produced meats, cakes, bread and artisan gourmet products, plus a large range of pet foo

ds. We also stock fresh local fruit and vegetables and our own naturally grown produce which goes into our range of homemade jams, pickles and chutneys.

We are now taking orders for hanging baskets!

Last year we were grateful to have our hanging baskets in an award winning show garden at Chelsea Flower Show. Peat free and encouraging pollinators, we grow the best baskets around.

Our prices have remained the same for the last 3 years.
You can buy ready made, or you can have bespoke and request specific size, plants, colours. We can refill your old baskets or we can provide a variety of basket options.

Our animals are smiling to see us back after the Christmas break. The snow makes everywhere look beautiful, but we do all we can to kero them warm, hydrated and well fed.
Our team make sure our animals have plenty of fresh warm bedding, fresh and healthy food and daily warm water.
Animal assisted therapy benefits all of us too. Getting outside, being active, caring for others and the joy that comes from building relationship with plenty of laughter ensure everyone starts the year on the right foot.
