Mindfulness teaches us to watch our thoughts like clouds moving past in the sky. They constantly change and eventually go.

We also know that behind the grey clouds there is always a blue sky. Even if we can't see it.

Through meditation you can learn to focus on the positive thoughts that uplift you, instead of the negative ones that pull you down. You decide what you focus on, the grey clouds or the blue sky ?

When you are born, the first thing you do is take in a breath. When we die, it is the last breath we exhale that takes us on to the next part of our journey. Learning to connect to breath, the life force, is the next level to living in full awareness.

There are so many different ways to create a mindful moment.

Intentionally making time to read a good book and explore things that are of interest to you is one way to get out of the wondering mind trap. Escaping into the pages of a book can be calming, uplifting and even nurturing.
