💡What if it’s not just hormones, ‘a little bit of PMT’. What if it’s everything you’ve silenced for the last month, year, lifetime and you’re angry!!

🥴 PMDD is complex, the hormonal interplay, histamine, genetics, inflammation, but it doesn’t mean that the anger is not valid.

🧘‍♀️ One of my favourite topics to work on is releasing anger. So many women bottle their anger and become like a pressure cooker. I look at safe ways to express anger to avoid full blown rage (towards others).

Guess who’s really into neuroinflammation right now 🙋🏼‍♀️. Deep into PMDD research rabbit holes and genetics are fascinating, the hormone sensitivity is clear and management around that is fairly straightforward, but the inflammatory symptoms that I’m seeing anecdotally are the work I’m really interested in just now. Sometimes the hardest symptoms to get on top of, reducing and eliminating inflammation is undoubtedly life changing for anyone struggling with physical and psychological symptoms. This is why root cause work and functional support is so important. Conventional medical treatments very rarely actually work for PMDD but it is absolutely possible to see improvement and complete cessation of symptoms through dietary changes and supplement support.
