We can't use a 'grounding technique' effectively if we don't know what's caused the 'ungrounding' in the first place. Usually it's a profound sense of unsafety – so a grounding technique needs to help us feel safe.

Stay cool you fabulous folks taking meds 😎

Sun and heat can be a contraindication for some meds AND also some natural supplements (St Johns Wort* for example).

And some types of ADHD support meds (please check your pharma inserts).

Also folks who microdose certain schrooms** for mental health purposes may experience heightened sun sensitivity so please apply your factor 50 a little more often.

If in doubt at all please chat with your GP, psychologist, psychiatrist, pharmacist or prescriber.

One week until the parade!!
Just a reminder- we will be meeting at the ferry at 1.30pm (if anyone fancies a drink before hand, the committee will be gathering in the Feathers Inn from 12.30)

We really do hope to get as many people involved in the parade, so round up your family, friends, children, cats, and dogs, this is a time to celebrate and be grateful to be able to live in a country were we are free to love who we love. If you prefer to stand and support at the side of the street this is greatly appreciated also.

From the parade- We invite you to the town hall for community event which involves stalls and live performances and face painting for children!

From 5-7pm, Live karaoke in the feathers with the great David and George.
8pm - Doors open at the town hall.
8.30pm - The phenomenal Drag Act Lilly Monique
9.15pm - The Spice Boys! You won’t want to miss this!
9.30pm The marvelous Drag Duo, Devine Intention and Madame Joe
10:30pm DJ Alan Glendinning to bring the show home!

We do encourage you to buy your tickets beforehand for the night time event from the Feathers Inn or Courier Centre however there will be tickets available on the door.
