We would like to share a heartfelt thank you from everyone at The Heathers Nursing Home 💛
We were delighted to welcome Margaret, our retired Head Housekeeper, along with her daughter Tina, who previously worked with us as a Housekeeper. They very kindly came in to sing Christmas songs for our residents, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the music and festive atmosphere 🎶🎄
We also had great fun celebrating Chocolate Covered Everything Day! Residents sampled a variety of treats dipped in dark, milk, and white chocolate — including marshmallows, strawberries, grapes, mango, cheese, vegetables, and even pork pie! This was followed by hot chocolates topped with cream, marshmallows, and caramel sauce ☕🍫
It’s safe to say it was a big hit, with the chocolate-covered pork pie being a particular favourite!
Thank you to everyone who helped make these moments so enjoyable in 2025.
