Business Brunch Club ☕🥐

Running a small business can feel lonely at times — especially when you’re juggling family life alongside it. Business Brunch Club is a relaxed, family-friendly morning where small business owners can come together to chat, brain-dump, share ideas and connect with others who get it.

This isn’t a workshop or a formal networking event — there’s no pressure to talk, no presentations, and no expectations. Just a supportive space to talk things through, bounce ideas around, and feel less alone.

⏰ 9:30am – 12:00pm
📍 Kids Rule Play Café, Heath Hayes

Pricing:
☕ £12 per adult – includes 1 standard drink + 1 mini pastry
👶 £2.50 per child – open play during the session

Children are very welcome, but remain the responsibility of their parent/carer at all times.

The session officially runs until 12pm, but if you’re in the flow and would like to stay on afterwards, you’re more than welcome to — with food and drinks available to purchase.

💛 SEN SUPPORT DROP-IN SESSION 💛

We’re really pleased to be hosting a special SEN session on Thursday 19th February, 9:30am–12:00pm, with professional support available in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Joining us on the day from 10am:

Pro-SEN Initiative – offering guidance around EHCPs, SEN law, placements, EOTAS and appeals

National Autistic Society – sharing local activities, resources and autism support

This will be an informal drop-in Q&A session, not a presentation. The professionals will be available around the café to chat with parents, answer questions and offer guidance based on what you need.

👶 Children attend as normal (standard play charges apply)
☕ Adults £2.50 – redeemable against a hot drink on the day
👋 Parents/carers are welcome to drop in, even without children

Please note we’re closed Monday 19th & Tuesday 20th, but we’re back open from Wednesday 21st with:

Cheslyn Hay Otters run a swimming club for people with disabilities, offering a relaxed, friendly environment where swimmers can enjoy the water at their own pace.

💛 SEN Session Update – Tomorrow Morning 💛

Our SEN session will still be going ahead tomorrow morning, as we know how important these sessions are to so many of our families and how much they’re relied on as a calm and supportive space.

However, due to the recent weather, there may still be some slippery or sludgy patches around. Because of this, attendance tomorrow will be completely at your own discretion, and each family will need to decide what feels safe and right for them.

If you do choose to attend, we kindly ask that everyone takes extra care when arriving and leaving. Please note that we are unable to take responsibility for any slips, trips, or falls due to the current weather conditions.

If you’d rather not attend tomorrow, that’s absolutely fine — just drop us a message and we’ll happily move your booking to another SEN session that suits you better.
