This is a varied role in a busy family environment and includes:

• Food & drink preparation
• Keeping the café clean and welcoming
• Helping with parties and events

To all the amazing women in our community — we see you 💜

Today I just want to take a moment to say thank you to the incredible women who inspire and empower me every day.

From just some the women I work alongside in our community such as Lisa Round, Lucy from Mini Me Mindfulness, and Chloe Astell who supported us in the early days and is doing amazing things now.

To my wonderful staff team, who help keep Kids Rule running and support families every single day.

To the mums, nans and aunties who walk through our doors daily, juggling everything life throws at them while still showing up with love and patience.

To the fellow soft play and play café owners who understand the chaos, the hard work and the passion behind what we do.

To the brilliant women I’ve met recently at the Women in Business events over the last couple of weeks — thank you for the encouragement, ideas and support.

And of course to my family and friends, especially my best mates Helen T and Lindsay, who are always there when I need them.

There are so many more amazing women in this community than I could ever list in one post, but please know I appreciate you all.

SEN Session Tomorrow at Kids Rule 💛

Our Sunday SEN session is running tomorrow morning and we still have a few spaces available for families who would like to join us.

🕘 9:15am – 11:45am

A relaxed and welcoming session where children can enjoy:

✨ Soft play
✨ Baby sensory area
✨ Role play rooms
✨ Disco / movement space

A chance for children to play freely and for parents to connect with other like-minded families.

Spaces are limited to keep the session comfortable for everyone, so booking is recommended.

Siblings are always welcome too.

After the session we will be closed for private parties from 12pm.

It’s Been Standing There for Decades… 🌿

Through changing seasons.
Through new roads and new generations.
Quietly pointing the way.

One of Hednesford’s historic landmarks has watched our town grow since at least the 1950s. Many walk past it. Many drive by it. Few stop to notice it.

But it’s part of our story.

On Sunday 12 April, as part of our Heritage Lost Initiative, we’ll be carefully protecting and refreshing this small but important piece of Hednesford’s past — ensuring it continues to stand proudly for years to come.

And we’re proud to be doing it alongside some of the town’s incredible volunteer groups who work tirelessly every day to make Hednesford a better place. When community comes together, amazing things happen.

We’re looking for a handful of friendly volunteers to join us for just a few hours.

No experience needed.
Just community spirit.
Just pride in where we live.
Just a willingness to help protect the details that make Hednesford… Hednesford.

We are so excited for our very first Babies & Brews session happening in two weeks at Kids Rule Play Café… and it’s nearly fully booked!

Hosted by the wonderful Lisa – Perinatal & Early Years Family Specialist, this is a calm, nurturing session designed especially for babies under 1 and their grown-ups.

✨ Gentle sensory play
✨ Keepsake activity
✨ Singing
✨ Informal discussion & reassurance
✨ Includes one adult drink

And as if that wasn’t enough…

📸 We also have the amazing Gemma Melton Photography joining us for mini shoots – just £10 per image 🤍
