✈️💙 A Little Backstory You Might Not Know About Us…

A lot of people don’t know that aviation has played a huge role in mine and Luke’s story. In fact, we actually met at a flying school! From there, planes, helicopters, airfields, and air shows have become a massive part of our journey — and something we’ve grown through together.

When we got married, we were incredibly lucky (and grateful) to be surrounded by so many wonderful friends in the aviation world. One of the most unforgettable moments was Luke being flown in by helicopter to our wedding… and then the two of us taking our first flight as Mr. and Mrs. right after we said “I do.” 🥹🚁

Some of our very best friends, and even Brianna’s godparents, are people we met through our flying school. Over the years, they’ve become family in every sense of the word.

That’s why events like RIAT are so special to us. They’re not just fun days out — they’re a chance to reconnect with the world that brought us together, and now share it with our little girl. And watching Brianna’s excitement as she soaks up every second? Pure magic. 🛩️❤️

👋 Meet the Team: Kellie Green – Director and Founder of RJF Training Solutions Limited

Hi, I’m Kellie – a former A&E nurse turned training provider, passionate about delivering high-quality, engaging, and practical training across a wide range of subjects!

I’m a mommy to a wild cracker 4year old daughter and I love country and western 😜

After years on the frontline, and after loosing my grandad to poor medical care, I launched RJF Training Solutions to make essential training accessible, relatable, and impactful. I believe training should empower people — not overwhelm them.

💻 As well as being hands-on with training, I work behind the scenes developing programmes, collaborating with brilliant businesses, and guiding our growing team. Whilst RJF Training Solutions is still in progress I’m so excited to launch very soon!

📩 You can now reach me directly at: kellie@rjftrainingsolutions.co.uk

We’re so excited about the direction RJF Training is heading, and I can’t wait to introduce you to the rest of our wonderful team over the coming weeks!

So, September is Sepsis Awareness Month. An entire month dedicated to raising awareness about sepsis, its symptoms, and the importance of early detection and treatment.

But I think it needs to be shouted about all year round!

I want to take you back to where my new journey started and why I do what I do today.

My grandad (Roger John Farr) died of sepsis in 2021 after contracting sepsis, but also after poor judgement on the medial team as a whole- as a family we were not allowed to visit (covid restrictions) but we were also not listened too either which led to a devastating ending.

After he died is where my journey into first aid training started and sadly the pivotal moment I decided nursing wasn’t in my future.

Since his death my new journey has been one of challenges but also one of accomplishment! I have pushed myself beyond what I thought possible and through my training I’ve won awards and been runner up for many more.

While I remember my grandad, I want to help people feel comfortable to speak up, advocate for their loved ones and also raise more awareness of sepsis too.

Sepsis is a life-threatening condition where the body’s response to an infection spirals out of control, potentially leading to organ damage and death.

In the UK alone, there are an estimated 245,000 cases of sepsis annually, resulting in around 48,000 fatalities.

👷‍♀️💻 Office closed for refurbishment? Sounds like the perfect excuse to sit on the playroom floor and hatch world-changing plans… or at least drink coffee and pretend we’re being productive. ☕🧩

Seriously though… while the building gets a facelift, me and Laura have been hard at work (promise) planning some brilliant new things — with a bit of floor-based brainstorming and probably a snack break or two. 😅

Exciting things are coming… once we stop getting distracted by toys and toddler logic. 💭🧸

🌞 Hello July! 🌿

As we welcome in a brand-new month, we wanted to let you know that both myself and our wonderful admin team will be taking a short break this month — not at the same time, don’t worry! 😊

✨ Mid-July, I’ll be stepping away for some family time and belated birthday celebrations, while our admin will be enjoying a well-earned holiday break at another point in the month. Rest is important, and we believe in practicing what we preach!

In the background, we’ve been working incredibly hard to improve how we run things, streamline communication, and make your experience with us even better.

📧 If there’s a slight delay in replies during these breaks, please bear with us — we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Here’s to a joyful July, full of sunshine, growth, and maybe even a bit of cake! 🎂🌸

Kellie was back with .shropshire today and back at Dawley CofE Primary in Telford! 🏫✨

Kellie:
It’s always a pleasure returning to this lovely school — and today I was back delivering their Workplace Qualification in Paediatric First Aid!

Dawley CofE has trusted me every single year to provide this essential training for their staff — and it doesn’t stop there! I’ve also had the privilege of delivering first aid training to every single pupil in the school, from the little ones to the big kids! 💚👶👧🧒

It’s amazing to work with a school that truly values safety, confidence, and practical life skills across the whole community.

Thank you for having me back again — and see you next year! 😉

we love you! You’ve made keeping safe in the sun mess free and hassle free!
These are completely Brianna approved and we know they feature in book too!

What factor sunscreen (SPF) should I use?
Do not rely on sunscreen alone to protect yourself from the sun. It’s still super important to wear suitable clothing and spend time in the shade when the sun’s at its hottest.

When buying sunscreen, the label should have:
☀️a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30 to protect against UVB
☀️at least 4-star UVA protection
☀️UVA protection can also be indicated by the letters “UVA” in a circle, which indicates that it meets the EU standard.

Make sure the sunscreen is not past its expiry date.

Do not spend any longer in the sun than you would without sunscreen.

What are the SPF and star rating?
The sun protection factor, or SPF, is a measure of the amount of ultraviolet B radiation (UVB) protection.

SPFs are rated on a scale of 2 to 50+ based on the level of protection they offer, with 50+ offering the strongest form of UVB protection.

The star rating measures the amount of ultraviolet A radiation (UVA) protection. You should see a star rating of up to 5 stars on UK sunscreens. The higher the star rating, the better.

1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in England -

We think that mental health training is a vital skill in the workplace - it equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to understand, manage, and support their own mental well-being, as well as the mental health of others.

It helps reduce stigma, improve communication, and create a more supportive environment.

By learning to recognize warning signs, build coping strategies, and encourage open conversations, training can lead to increased resilience, improved relationships, and a more positive overall culture.

That’s why we think that brining this training to you is so important 😍

It’s certainly heating up (we’ve stayed inside today!) but we know how important it is to be safe in the heat. Thank you for some fantastic sun safety tips!

Either at home or on holiday, it’s so important to protect yourself and your family from the sun.

Did you know: The sun is often strong enough to cause damage in the UK between mid-March and mid-October, even when it’s cold or cloudy.

By using these three steps together from , you can protect your skin and enjoy the sun safely:

Spend time in the shade, especially between 11am and 3pm in the UK.

Cover up with clothes, a wide-brimmed hat and UV protection sunglasses.

Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and 4 or 5 stars. Use it generously, reapply regularly and use together with shade and clothing. WE USE FACTOR 50 👌🏻
