Lately at The Grange .... ❤️

We had the wonderful children come to visit again who kept us all entertained 🧒🏻🛴

They will be returning again to dress up for us for a Halloween special visit 🎃👻🧟‍♀️

Then Lil celebrated being 95 🎈🎂 Lil really enjoyed visiting for a special tea at daughter's house where they celebrated her birthday ❤️

Don't forget we have our Halloween party coming up 🎃🧒🏻👻 please donate any items you can ❤️👍

We would like to say a big well done and most importantly thank you to all the kitchen staff who again bagged a 5 star rating at The Grange ⭐❤️

To all staff in general who continue with all hard work we can't thank you enough 👍

Nikki, Shell, Maz, Mel, Vanda & Skye who work very hard in the kitchen ❤️

⭐ SUMMER PARTY ⭐

We had a wonderful time yesterday and we firstly would like to thank a few people

🫂 Families and friends that constantly support us
🎵 Damien who performed for us
🏰 Roxie's bouncy castle hire
❤️ Staff who continuously support the residents and home in everyday not just for events
🎁 All gifts donated for raffle and tombola
😇 Jean Hughes who helps every year for every occasion ⭐

We raised a wonder £510 for the residents fund and we can't thank you all enough for that 😊

😎🌞 Summer Party Prep 🌞😎

We are reminding you lovely lot about our upcoming Summer Party next Tuesday 26th August from 10am 🎤👩🏻‍🎤

Our singer will be starting at 11am 🎶
Bouncy Castle will arrive from 9am 🏰
Raffle sale is well underway but donations are still very much appreciated 🏆
Tombola 🎟️ will be running from 10am

Hot dogs & Burger are available to purchase 🌭 🍔

🥳 CELEBRATIONS 🥳

With the days that go by means more special occasions at The Grange ❤️

Firstly Hazel had a very special day celebrating her birthday 🎉💐 Hazel was extremely spoilt 💝 enjoyed an outing with her family which is the most special of all for those who know Hazel 💛🚗 Happy Birthday 🎈

Secondly Ken & Jackie celebrated 54 years together today 🥰👩‍❤️‍👩 Ken joined Jackie for a lovely lunch and enjoyed the morning together ❤️ Happy Anniversary to you both 🤩

This morning before the beautiful sun became too hot we enjoyed some garden games ⚽🎯 ice creams🍦lots of family visits 👩‍❤️‍👩

We hope the beautiful weather will stay with us for our Summer bash ⛱️🌞

This afternoon we have had a great visit from a wonderful lady who kindly came to do a fitness session with our lovely lot ❤️

Focusing on coordination 🤚

Pushing and pulling using our muscles 💪

🥳🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR JULY BABIES 🎂🥳

This month we have had a full month of celebration 🎉🎈

Lots of cakes made and lots of different activities to keep everyone occupied especially in the hot weather earlier in the month 🌞

Ken & Pat celebrated being 90 and Pat's family generously arranged and paid for a visit from the ice cream man 🍨🍦 thank you for that ❤️

Bernard celebrated his birthday with visits and enjoyed his favourite curry from the takeaway 🍛

We hope you all had a lovely birthday 🧡🩷

😁 CARE TO SMILE 😁

Over the last 6 months Emma, Lisa, Elesha & Lynsey attended to be care to smile champions within care, Dementia and other illnesses we face everyday ❤️

The four have now become care to smile leads within the sector and we were lucky enough to win an award for compliance and everyone at the grange working hard and completing the work ❤️🙏

Thank you everyone for all your hard work to continue to give the best care to our deserving residents ❤️

Our award was delivered by the director of CQC and now is displayed proudly in our entrance ❤️

☀️😎 Summer ready 😎☀️

We have been preparing for the wonderful summer ahead ❤️ trips to B&Q to add to our beautiful garden 🏡 Mel who has worked extremely hard to get the garden looking fantastic 🙏🏻 our lovely lot in general enjoying our lovely grounds 🏡🪏

That being said we know that alot of you are aware that to give the residents these wonderful things and other special events it takes a lot of fundraising and donations ❤️

So we are asking if anyone can spare tombola prizes, raffle prizes any donations to make our summer spectacular a huge hit again like the last year's ❤️

If you have anything or able to help please get in touch or drop it in ❤️

We have had a busy but wonderful couple of weeks at The Grange ❤️

We have been visiting the M&M club for mix and mingle sessions 🎨👩‍🎨

Children from our lovely group visited and kept us entertained as always 🧒🏻🎶

We have been making the most of the beautiful weather ☀️ visiting our nature reserve to see the ducks 🦆

Claire came to sing for us and kept us entertained for the morning 🎤👩‍🎤

St peters school choir performed for us 💙

Stay safe in the upcoming heat and enjoy the sunshine 🌞 ☀️
