🔹 Chase Podiatry Update: Dr Mark Price Speaking at Foot and Ankle Show 2026 🔹

We’re proud to share that our Consultant Podiatric Surgeon, Dr Mark Price, has been invited to speak at the Foot and Ankle Show in Liverpool on 3rd–4th March 2026 - a key event for foot and ankle professionals across the UK and beyond.

Dr Price will be presenting on:

- A Masterclass on Plantar Heel Pain

- The mechanical response of the plantar fascia to changes in rearfoot position

- A method for weight-bearing assessment of plantar fascial thickness and stiffness

These topics reflect ongoing challenges in clinical practice and the latest approaches to diagnosis and management, particularly in cases of persistent heel pain.

These sessions are a great opportunity for fellow professionals to engage with the latest thinking - and it’s always good to see Dr Price sharing his experience with the wider community.

📣 Chase Podiatry’s Burntwood Clinic: Under Construction 🔨

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll soon be reopening in a brand-new clinic at Sankey’s Corner in Burntwood!

Construction is well underway, and while we don’t have an exact date yet, we’re aiming to open by the new year—or sooner if possible.

Our priority will be contacting patients who missed appointments during this time to get their care back on track 👣

🐾 A Special Visitor at Chase Podiatry! 👣

A few days ago, we were delighted to meet Jeanie, a guide dog puppy in training! She waited patiently while her mum/trainer had her feet cared for by our podiatrist.

We asked if she wanted her paws checked too, but she said, “No thanks, they’re already paw-fect!” 🐾

🌍 International Teaching 🌍

Dr. Mark Price has recently returned from the University of Malta, where he’s taught podiatric surgery to 3rd-year students for an impressive 13 years running.

Alongside the Maltese students, they welcomed additional students from the Netherlands and Italy this year, adding to the international experience.

Next year, some of these students will join us in the UK for a surgical observation placement with Dr. Price, including time here at Chase Podiatry to see our approach to podiatric care in action.

Great to see future podiatrists gaining hands-on experience and new perspectives!
