Why Us?

As Cannock's longest established independent optical practice, Chase Eyecare opticians offer a comprehensive range of quality products and services. With practices in Cannock and Hednesford, we aim to provide you with the highest standards of professional eye care and friendly, personal service, together with excellent value for money for all the family or all ages under one roof. We are the very first practice and only practice in the area offering Enhanced Examinations including Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) which is a detailed scan that allows us to see a 3D image of your eye. This means we can see beneath the surface and diagnose/advise about a number of conditions in their earliest stages. For a number of years we have been able to photograph the back of your eye making the record of your ocular health much more accurate. With the new 3D scan we still have the photograph but now we also have a three dimensional cross section of the back of your eye. The scan is non-invasive, painless, simple and quick. The information it gives us is invaluable picking up the most subtle changes to your retina, allowing early diagnosis of a number of serious conditions, including glaucoma and macular degeneration. There is a small charge for this, which has previously only been available at hospital. And there are free payment plans available too. When you visit our practice for a regular eye test, your eyes will be examined by a fully qualified consultant. We will discuss your individual needs, answer your questions and advise you on keeping your vision in the best possible condition. Should you need glasses or contact lenses, you'll be given a full explanation of the different options available. To book a consultation with one of our clinicians or if you require an emergency appointment please call 01543 570 313 (Cannock Practice) or 01543 422 198 (Hednesford practice). Free parking is available, and blue badge holders can be dropped only a couple of steps from us. We are wheelchair friendly practice.
